Winter Micro Wedding – Madison and Dylan

Madison and Dylan – December 1, 2022

Winter Micro Wedding

Madison and Dylan joined us for a winter micro wedding. They dressed the chapel in our red winter berry florals with white fabric and our winter tree package. He was awestruck when he saw her walk down the aisle. These two were so cute together! Congratulations, Madison and Dylan!!
From the Bride:
We went to high school together, Dylan is one year older than me. He never spoke to me but he would talk to my friends about having a crush on me but he never would make a move! Finally one day after a year of social media flirting, he messaged me and we made plans. We hung out and watched a movie together. Honestly feels like this was just last year. We both had to work on Valentine’s Day in 2015, so we met up the day after and went to a restaurant in Mooresburg Tennessee called “The Green Tomato Grill”. Dylan had never been and it was one of my favorites. We had the best time. This was the start of a several year (sometimes now also) every Saturday tradition to go on our date nights there. We always sat in the same spot. He was and still is the sweetest funniest and attentive person to be around.
Dylan proposed to me in 2020 on Christmas Day. He knew exactly what my ideal scenario would be and I never spoke a word to him about it. My and my family were all opening up presents. The kids were finishing up and Dylan reached around and pulled out another one and said he forgot to give it to me this morning when we opened ours at our home. I truly didn’t think anything of it. When I opened it, it was a Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince book. We are both HUGE Harry Potter fans. I was perfectly happy to have it and then he said open it and pointed at a bookmark that was in it. When I opened to the first page I could see it was his Harry Potter book from elementary school and it has his name inside. Which was so sentimental and heartwarming to see. He received this book as a gift shortly after his father and he had told me this before. When I flipped to the book mark my heart dropped because I saw that it was chapter 15 which is The Unbreakable Vow. My ring was inside the book as well. And then he asked me! My heart actually stopped beating I’m pretty sure. I instantly started crying. We hugged, we kissed, we cried. It was the best Christmas I’ve ever had and I absolutely love Christmas. It made it all the more special. I’ve never felt a happiness like I did in that moment. I felt like I had won the lottery.
We wanted an East Tennessee wedding because we love the mountains! We are just an hour away and this whole area is breathtaking. We will look back on our wedding pictures and never get tired of the beautiful scenery. I am looking forward to Making memories with all of our closest friends and family that will last forever. Celebrating the start of our new chapter together as one in the eyes of God. Seeing each other all dressed up. So many things!
For fun we love to spend time together, no matter what that may be. We are truly best friends. We love to go to the movies, we could go every single weekend. We love to go on ice cream dates at an ice cream shop in Bean Station Tennessee called Aunt B’s. We love to have lazy days on the weekends when we are off work and literally not leave the house just chill and relax in each others company all day. No madder what we do we always have fun and we always make the most of whatever we are doing at the time.
