Boho Elopement in the Smokies
Sheena and Scott joined us to celebrate a boho elopement in the Smokies. They dressed the chapel in black and blush with our moody florals. Her dress was AMAZING — so unique and different — and she looked gorgeous! Congratulations, Sheena and Scott!
From the Bride:
We were friends on social media, through a mutual friend. He would only ” like ” my stuff, so I added him to Instagram, he finally slides in my DM’s and the rest is history. For our first date, he cooked dinner for me at his house. Scott proposed, in true homebody fashion and my sarcastic attitude; he caught the moment just right. He’s defiantly not a romance guy, haha! We decided on an East Tennessee wedding because we LOVE TN. It was our first vacation together and our “blended ” family at Christmas time. I always told him when we got married that I wanted to get married there. Let’s face it, this wedding has been planned out for well over a year (someone had to drag their feet, and it wasn’t me.) I found Chapel in the Hollow on Pinterest and my heart was set.
I’m looking forward to just saying I DO, I love pictures, so lots of pictures. We have children and mine are 10 and 15 years old, very rarely do we get alone time, especially away. I look forward to it being about us and just us that day. Date nights consist usually of dinner and me dragging him shopping. We’re homebodies. We have a few friends that we get together with a few times a month. We just really enjoy doing absolutely nothing with each other and just being present.
