No giant traditional wedding required.
But enough time and flexibility to make your little wedding feel completely yours.

If you want the literal adventure, that’s another package. 😂
Signature Weddings give you the most flexibility of any of our wedding options.
Instead of requiring you to purchase a predetermined collection of services, you start by choosing the amount of venue time you need.
Then build from there.

You don’t automatically need three hours just because it’s available.
The right amount of time depends on how many people you’re bringing and how many things you’d like to do while you’re here.
A simple ceremony with a small group and a few family and couple portraits requires considerably less time than a wedding with 35 guests, getting-ready photos, first looks, a ceremony, family portraits, cake, a first dance, and multiple couple-photo locations.
The question isn’t really:
“How long is a wedding supposed to be?”
It’s:
“What do we want to fit into ours?”
Up to 35 Guests
Signature Micro Weddings can accommodate up to 35 guests for your ceremony.
Your guest count includes children, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and other members of your wedding party.
That gives you enough room to invite the people who genuinely matter without suddenly finding yourself planning a 150-person event because your mother’s coworker’s daughter apparently needs an invitation.
You can have:
Your parents.
Your kids.
Your siblings.
Your closest friends.
Your grandparents.
A small wedding party.
Or nobody but the two of you.
The fact that you can invite 35 people doesn’t mean you have to.
Small is kind of our thing.
Your 30-Minute Grace Period
Unlike our Make It Legal and Petite Weddings, Signature Micro Weddings include a 30-minute grace period before your reserved wedding time.
During that time, you can arrive, use the bridal suite, take care of final preparations, and get settled before your official wedding timeline begins.
This is especially helpful if you want to arrive partially dressed and finish getting ready at the venue.
Your grace period is separate from your reserved 1–3 hours, giving you a little breathing room before everything gets started.
Because nobody wants their wedding-day timeline to begin with:
“EVERYBODY HURRY.”
Bridal Suite Access
Signature Weddings include access to our bridal suite during your grace period and wedding experience.
Use it for final touches, getting into your dress, hiding before the ceremony, or simply taking a minute before everything begins.
If you’re adding photography and want getting-ready photographs, make sure you reserve enough wedding time to include them in your photography timeline.
Make the Chapel Look Like You
One of the biggest differences between our Petite Wedding and Signature Micro Wedding is the ability to personalize the chapel.
Signature Weddings include your choice from our available collection of included chapel fabrics and florals.
Depending on your wedding style and current inventory, you can create something light and romantic, earthy and boho, colorful, moody, seasonal, or somewhere in between.
You’ll also have access to our standard included chapel accessories.
Want to take things further?
Additional accessory upgrades are available for couples who want to add more decorative elements to their wedding setup.

Professional Officiating
Need someone to make the marriage part official?
Professional officiating can be added to your Signature Wedding.
We’ll gather the information we need before your wedding, prepare your ceremony, perform it on the big day, and complete the appropriate portion of your Tennessee marriage license.
If you already have someone you’d like to perform your ceremony, outside officiants are welcome and are exempt from our outside wedding professional insurance requirement.

Professional Wedding Photography
Chapel in the Hollow photography can be added based on the length of your Signature Wedding.
Depending on the amount of time you’ve reserved and the things you’d like photographed, your coverage can include moments such as:

- First looks

- Family portraits
- Wedding-party portraits
- Couple portraits
- Cake cutting
- Toasts
- First dance
- Additional property photo locations

Explore Chapel in the Hollow for Photos
When Chapel in the Hollow photography is booked, Signature couples can explore available photo locations around the property as time allows.
Depending on your timeline, season, weather, and priorities, that can include areas around the chapel and additional wooded, creekside, garden, and natural locations.
Signature Weddings also give you access to our two mountain-view photo locations when your photography timeline allows.
This is one of the biggest advantages of choosing Signature over Petite if wedding photography is a priority.
Petite Weddings keep everything around the chapel.
Signature gives us room to wander.
Our Mountain-View Photo Locations
Want a little mountain scenery without turning your wedding into a full adventure?
Signature couples booking Chapel in the Hollow photography can visit our mountain-view locations when their timeline allows.
Because these locations require additional time to reach, photograph, and return from, you’ll want to take them into consideration when deciding how many hours to reserve.
If mountain portraits are high on your priority list, give yourself enough time for them.
Mountains remain stubbornly unwilling to come to us.

What About the Foothills Parkway?
The Foothills Parkway is not included with Signature Micro Weddings.
If you’ve fallen in love with the idea of finishing your wedding with a couple-only photography adventure along the Foothills Parkway, you’ll want to look at our Adventure Wedding Packages instead.
Adventure Weddings bundle your venue, officiating, photography, event management, and other wedding extras with transportation and your Foothills Parkway adventure.
Signature is best when you want flexibility.
Adventure is best when you want the bundle + the mountains.
Wedding Videography
Want to remember more than how everything looked?
Videography can be added to your Signature Micro Wedding.
Wedding photographs freeze individual moments.
Video lets you hear the vows, the laughter, the voices, and all those tiny things your wedding-day brain may decide not to store properly because apparently it has other things going on.
Videography options vary based on your wedding length and selected coverage.
Event Management
Even little weddings have moving parts.
Someone needs to know when the ceremony is starting.
Someone needs to get the wedding party lined up.
Someone needs to know where Dad wandered off to.
And ideally, that someone isn’t you.
Event management can be added to your Signature Wedding to help with the flow and logistics of your time at Chapel in the Hollow.
This is especially helpful for weddings with larger guest counts, wedding parties, personal decor, first looks, cake cutting, dances, or several planned wedding-day moments.
Bring Your Own Wedding Professionals
Signature Micro Weddings are the only customizable Chapel in the Hollow option that allows outside wedding professionals.
If you’ve already found a photographer, videographer, planner, florist, hair and makeup artist, or another professional you love, you’re welcome to bring them as long as they meet our insurance requirements.
Applicable outside wedding professionals must provide a $1 million general liability certificate of insurance naming Chapel in the Hollow as additional insured. It’s super quick and easy to get from their insurance provider if they are already insured. If not, they can get day of coverage from somewhere like thimble.com.
Outside officiants are exempt from the insurance requirement.
Please make sure your wedding professionals (or family/friends providing services) can meet the requirements before booking them.
Want Cake, Champagne, or a First Dance?
You can absolutely incorporate little reception-style moments into a Signature Micro Wedding.
Couples sometimes use their wedding time for things like:
- Cake cutting
- Champagne or another toast
- First dance
- Parent dances
- Private vows
- First looks
- Family traditions
- Handfasting
- Personal decor
- Extra portraits
Just remember that everything uses part of your reserved wedding time.
A cake cutting might not take long.
A cake cutting + champagne toast + first dance + parent dances + 14 family-photo combinations + three photo locations?
That’s a different story.
This is why choosing the right amount of time matters more than trying to follow a generic wedding timeline.
How Much Wedding Time Should We Book?
There isn’t one perfect answer, but here’s a helpful way to think about it.
1 Hour
Best for couples keeping things very simple.
Think ceremony, essential family portraits, and couple photos with limited extras.
1.5 Hours
Gives you a little more breathing room for guests, family photographs, and couple portraits.
2 Hours
A popular middle ground for couples who want a ceremony, family photos, several couple-photo locations, and a relaxed experience without adding many reception-style activities.
2.5 Hours
Helpful when photography is a priority, you have a larger guest list, want mountain-view portraits, or have additional wedding-day moments you’d like to include.
3 Hours
Our most flexible Signature option.
Consider three hours if you’re combining several elements such as getting-ready photographs, first looks, a larger guest count, lots of family portraits, multiple couple-photo locations, mountain views, cake, champagne, dances, or other mini-reception moments.
You don’t get bonus points for cramming a three-hour wedding into 90 minutes.
Give yourselves enough time to enjoy it.
