Pigeon Forge Micro Weddings – Destiny and Cody

Pigeon Forge micro weddings are a great option for couples wanting to focus on the two of them and the people they love most. Destiny and Cody were our final wedding on September 12th. She chose an amazing color palette that popped against all of the greens in the woods. Her dress looked so gorgeous, and Cody was rocking his suit and suspenders. Cody had so much emotion during the ceremony that he combusted a little afterward. Congratulations Destiny and Cody!!

From the Bride:

Cody is a nurse and I used to be a nurse assistant. We met when we worked together at a nursing home in Carrollton Georgia. For the first date, we just went out to have some drinks with friends from work. After everyone else left we stayed and talked for a while. It was an “accidental” first date. 

Cody proposed. We went to meet some of our friends for lunch in downtown Senoia Georgia. He knew I wanted a picture if he ever proposed. So my friend said let’s go take a picture under the gazebo. They pretended they were taking a picture and he got down on his knee. He was so nervous he didn’t say anything for a minute. It was cute.

We were originally going to get married in West Point Georgia and have more people but knew as the day got closer that wouldn’t be possible with COVID. We went to Tennessee in June and just went to look at the chapel and decided that was the perfect place for a small wedding instead of our original plans.

I’m looking forward to getting pampered by getting my nails, hair and makeup done. I’m excited to wear my dress! 

We chose the date because it’s exactly halfway in between both of our birthdays. We figured we could do a trip every year to celebrate all three occasions. Also I wanted a fall wedding but October is reserved for football lol. 

We are usually up for anything. We don’t do the same thing for fun all the time. We mostly enjoy just relaxing and binge watching shows together. Other than that we like to cook, go to the casino, and spend time with our fur babies. We have two dogs and a cat
