Mandy and Nick’s outdoor candlelit ceremony at Chapel in the Hollow was a deeply romantic affair, beautifully marking their 11 years together with an evening filled with warmth and elegance. They chose cream and textured rust fabric to adorn the chapel, enhanced by our bohemian florals and an enchanting candle package, creating a soft, inviting glow that perfectly set the mood for their special day.
Mandy looked absolutely stunning in a silky asymmetrical dress, featuring a chic slit leg and one shoulder design, paired with the cutest shoes she found on Shein, adding a playful and stylish touch to her bridal look. Nick complemented her elegance in a classic black suit, his attire reflecting the ceremony’s sophisticated tone.
The setup was a labor of love, with Mandy’s friends helping to arrange every detail, including a charming hourglass for their sand ceremony, symbolizing the timeless nature of their bond. Her son proudly walked her down the aisle, adding a sweet family element to the procession.
Nick was visibly moved during their vows, getting a little choked up as they exchanged heartfelt promises. Mandy’s rings, with their vintage feel, sparkled under the candlelight, symbolizing their enduring love.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds posed for a picture with a‘just married’ sign at the chapel, the candlelight casting a magical glow around them. We also captured them amidst the changing leaves, with the mountains providing a colorful backdrop as the sun set, adding a spectacular touch to their photo session.
Congratulations, Mandy and Nick! Your candlelit ceremony was not just a celebration of your enduring love but a beautiful testament to the life you’ve built together over the years. May your future be as bright and lovely as your magical wedding evening!
From the Bride
We became friends. We used to drive around and talk and hang out for a month or so before anything romantic happened. For our first date we went to Olive Garden and drove around. When we first started out we didn’t have a lot of money so we kinda entertained ourselves cheaply.
Nick proposed. We had tickets to go see Bret Krischer in Cleveland Ohio for his birthday. He had planned for weeks without me knowing anything was going on. It took 7 years for the proposal to happen so I had no idea. He asked me Infront of the Cleveland baseball stadium. Best night ever!
We both love the mountains. It was a place we always saw ourselves getting married in. Fall is our favorite time of year and we love the colors of the trees. It is a beautiful serene place for us.I can’t wait to marry my best friend. I also love pictures for memories so I can’t wait for those also. Lol I wanted a date that would flow together and something easy to remember. Started out wanting 10/24/24 but you guys were booked so we took the 10/20/24 which flows well also!
We love to relax in bed and watch TV. We also love traveling to places as a family. We are pretty low maintenance people. It has taken 11 years for this wedding and marriage to happen. We have been through one of the worst years this year. My mom and grandma passed within 6 weeks of each other, stress with our son, and just life has been crazy hard this year. So this is a new start and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. He is my best friend.
