Mountain Wedding Getaway – Aleah and Dalton

Mountain Wedding Getaway

Aleah and Dalton – October 21, 2023

Aleah and Dalton’s mountain wedding getaway at Chapel in the Hollow was a heartwarming journey with a touch of Michigan charm. They transformed the chapel into a haven of hunter green and burgundy, beautifully complemented by sunflower florals, candles, and lanterns. The atmosphere was nothing short of magical.
Aleah’s personal touch shone through in the sola wood bouquets she brought. Their families, who traveled all the way from Michigan, leaped into action, lending a helping hand to ensure everything was picture-perfect upon their arrival.
As Aleah prepared for her walk down the aisle, her mom and sister joined her, transforming this into a wonderful bonding experience. With her dad by her side, the journey down the aisle was a heartwarming moment filled with love and emotion.
For Dalton, his dad stood proudly as his best man. Their friendship and bond were beautifully symbolized on this special day. A unique birch tree-shaped cake with initials carved in it and adorned with sunflowers added a sweet touch to their celebration. In front of the chapel, Aleah and Dalton shared their first dance, a moment that radiated joy, playfulness, and love.
The entire evening was nothing short of delightful, filled with laughter and a sense of adventure. Aleah and Dalton’s wedding was an unforgettable chapter in their love story.
From the Bride:
We were working at the the same gas station. Dalton was working on the gas pumps and I was working the register and he asked to give me his number. For our first date, we hung out at his trailer and watched Hitched. Dalton proposed when we were visiting Tennessee for his birthday and our 1 year anniversary. We visited Gatlinburg and walked the sky bridge and when we made it to the other side he had some couple take a picture of us and then asked me while they were taking pictures.
We decided to get married in East Tennessee because that’s were he proposed and we think Tennessee is beautiful! I’m looking forward to marrying the person we love.
For fun, we go golfing. Ride our bikes with our daughter. Go to the movies and out to eat for date nights and play card games!
