October Mountain Wedding
Gianna and Sailor – October 21, 2023
Gianna and Sailor’s love story reached its beautiful peak here at Chapel in the Hollow with their enchanting October mountain wedding. The chapel, swathed in dreamy sand and white fabric, provided a perfect canvas for the moody florals and candles that adorned it. The atmosphere was pure magic!
Gianna radiated elegance in her sleeveless dress, which featured a graceful mid-length train. Sailor complemented her radiance with his hunter green suit, making them a picture-perfect couple. As Gianna prepared for her walk down the aisle, her mom was by her side, adding an extra layer of love and excitement to the day. Then, the moment arrived. Gianna’s dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle. It was a poignant and heartfelt journey that they shared together. To make this day even more special, Gianna’s brother played a significant role, holding the precious rings for the ceremony.
Both Gianna and Sailor decided to craft personal vows, and when Sailor began to read his, emotions overflowed. It was a touching moment as they opened up about their journey, from just missing each other in high school to being incredibly lucky to find each other later in life.
Their emotions ran the gamut from excitement to nervousness, creating a day that was full of warmth, love, and tenderness. Despite the chilly morning outdoors, the love shared between Gianna and Sailor created a warmth that enveloped everyone. It was truly a magical day to remember!
From the Bride and Groom:
We met through the grooms sister, Josee, we went to the same high school and had never met! But the bride was working under Josee and introduced the two at a party. For a couple or years they remained friends hut nothing more, creating a stable foundation in each other before blooming into something more. We never had a first date! Within the first month of us seriously pursuing a relationship, Covid hit and everything was shut down. We opted for staying at each others houses and watching movies, taking on new adventures and of course lots of drinking.
After being together for a little over a year, we had talked about what our future together would look like. Sailor had lots of plans but they all got ruined one night when they had a little too much to drink and couldn’t hold back the secret anymore and he proposed in their first shared apartment.
We decided on an East Tennessee wedding because it is an area we’ve never been to before and wanted to travel somewhere with a great atmosphere to spend with our families as we tie the knot. We are looking forward to celebrating our love in a unifying way at a beautiful location surrounded by the people that mean the most to us.
For fun we watch movies, ride our motorcycles, a night in with our pets (2 dogs, 1 cat)!
