Valerie and John – August 22, 2020
Mini Weddings in Tennessee
If you’ve been researching mini weddings in Tennessee, you’re going to love this one!! Valerie and John joined us the morning of August 22nd for our first wedding — right before the rains came through. The more morning weddings I do, the more I love them!! The lighting was amazing, it was soooo much cooler than it got later today, and they got to head out and enjoy the entire rest of the day with their loved ones!! Valerie had this whole forest goddess vibe going on–she did not take a single bad picture! In about four months, their family of four is going to become a family of five. Congratulations, Valerie and John!!
From the Bride:
We use to work for the same company and he’s boss and my boss thought we would be perfect for each other. He never reached out to me for AN ENTIRE YEAR! Lol but I patiently waited…. in January of 2019 I got into a car accident and he found out through Facebook of what has happened to me and he then reached out to me. We started talking through messenger which rapidly changed to text messages and quickly after that we just talked on the phone every day for hours as well as FaceTime. Every year he goes to Alabama for Turkey Hunting. He has mentioned to me that his friends that typically go with him weren’t going this year so it would only be him. I thought, well that’s a bummer and said “ I’ll go with you! I’ve never been hunting before but I’m down!” Mind you, at this point it was mid to end February, we had never met each other in person at this point. Nevertheless, I flew to Birmingham Airport where he picked me up with hand picked Buttercups ???? – needless to say the rest is history! I knew he was the one fairly soon into our relationship and I think he knew this as well.
Lol our first date was the ride from Birmingham Airport to Smuteye, Alabama. The entire trip was absolutely wonderful! He and his family live in West TN and in Knoxville, and my family lives in NC. East Tennessee was the perfect in between place. Aside from that, we both love the mountains. I’m looking forward most to the pictures lol but most of all to saying I do to the man of my dreams.
We love football, we enjoy traveling and going out to eat at different places as well as discovering different places. He loves to hunt and he loves food! Lol we are expecting a baby girl in January which accelerated this event lol.
