Midday November Wedding – Jacob and Alexis

Midday November Wedding

Jacob and Alexis – November 2, 2024

Alexis and Jacob’s midday November wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a celebration of love and timeless elegance, beautifully set against the autumn backdrop of East Tennessee.  They chose a delicate mix of dusty sage and lavender fabric for the chapel, perfectly complemented by our lavender florals and the charming touch of our deluxe pumpkin package, creating a picturesque autumnal scene.
Jacob looked sharp in a brown suit paired with a green patterned tie, sharing a special moment as he walked down the aisle with their adorable puppy, adding a sweet personal touch to their ceremony.
Alexis radiated a modern yet classic charm in a stunning beaded spaghetti strap dress that flared at the bottom, evoking the glamour of the 1920s. The preparation for their big day was a family affair; Alexis’s mom played a pivotal role in helping her get ready, adding to the day’s emotions and memories. Her dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle, a moment filled with joy and pride.
Adding to the uniqueness of their wedding, the couple brought a cake all the way from Indiana, exquisitely covered in buttercream and pearls, a true centerpiece of their celebration.
Congratulations, Alexis and Jacob! Your wedding was a beautiful blend of past and present, set in the serene surroundings of our chapel. May your life together be as sweet and loving as your special day!
From the Bride
We met through mutual friends. Neither of us can really remember our first date…we have horrible memories. Jacob proposed! I was so nervous because I felt it coming, we were hiking in the snow and we arrived at this huge frozen waterfall.  I turned around to take a picture when I turned back around he was down on one knee and asked me to be his hiking buddy for life! We decided to get married in East Tennessee because we are both mountain people by heart, not by fate. We absolutely love the mountains. Between sharing the day with our closest friends and family and getting married to each other it’s hard to tell what we are looking forward to most on our wedding day. We decided on this date because we both love chilly weather. We love hiking, hanging out with friends, going to concerts, we love to have fun and try new things.
