Be and Andrew’s harvest wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a celebration of love and creativity, set against the vibrant backdrop of a Tennessee autumn. They chose champagne and textured rust fabric to beautifully adorn the chapel, creating a colorful, inspiring atmosphere for their special day.
Be, a talented dried and paper floral artist, crafted the most stunning decor for their wedding. The chapel was transformed with her handmade wreaths and pumpkins filled with flowers, interspersed with votives in vintage-style candle holders. She also brought yards of fabric to elegantly dress a memory table and cake table, adding vintage-style goblets, a gold mirror, and a pendant banner to enhance the cake display.
She wore a uniquely charming dress from Anthropologie, featuring delicate designs, flutter sleeves, and a short train, complemented by adorable vintage-style heels. Andrew was dapper in grey dress pants, a sand-colored shirt, a brown and blue patterned tie, and a faux suede blazer, perfectly matching the harvest theme.
The archway was also adorned with a dried floral garland and mums, adding just the right touch of autumnal flair. Be created a gorgeous oversized bouquet that was a true masterpiece of her craft.
Their family played a big part in the day, with everyone pitching in to set up. Her mom helped her get ready, and both of their moms had the honor of walking her down the aisle, making the ceremony deeply personal and touching.
The ceremony was filled with beautiful moments, including two opportunities for the couple to kiss, and heartfelt vows that moved Andrew to tears. They celebrated their union with a bubble exit, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere as they walked out together.
After the ceremony, they cut into their citrus olive oil cake. We captured family photos before whisking Be and Andrew away to various picturesque locations around the property, including the road, the rocky highland area, and the field with a breathtaking mountain view. The golden autumn light and the full color of the fall trees provided a perfect setting for stunning wedding photos.
Congratulations, Be and Andrew! Your wedding was not just a display of your love but a beautiful reflection of your creativity and the warmth of your families. May your life together be as colorful and filled with joy as your incredible harvest wedding day!
From the Bride
We met at work at BlueToad Inc in Orlando, FL. Our first date was a romantic dinner at Red Lobster. I had never been there until I met Andrew. Andrew proposed in Trion, GA on Halloween 2021. We rented a cabin up in the mountains with a few close friends. I had no idea that Andrew was going to propose. Andrew asked his best friend to take a ‘photo’ of us, but he was actually recording the proposal. As we were posing for the photo, Andrew got on his knee and asked me to marry him. He was nervous so his speech was short. Fun fact: the ring was too large because we did not measure my finger size correctly. It was 3x too big. So we had to fake how the ring looked in the photos after. Overall, it was a chill and stress free proposal.
We were looking for an intimate and charming location. Something that was stress free. We knew we wanted to be surrounded by nature in the fall, which is our favorite season. The chapel, woods and Smoky Mountains fit the bill. On our wedding day we are looking forward to finally getting married and if there are fall colors, it would be the icing on the cake.We wanted to get married in the fall. This date just happened to be close to the date of our engagement.
We love the outdoors. Fishing, being on the water and exploring the Indian River Lagoon in Florida. We also love hanging out with our family and friends. We have two cats, Shia and Sayuri, that we love as if they were our children.
