Amber and Dylan returned to Chapel in the Hollow for their end of October wedding, transforming it into a scene of simple elegance with sand fabric and a focus on personalized details. You might recall their vibrant engagement session here when the foliage was lush and green—it was a joy to see how the seasons have beautifully shifted for their special day.
Amber was stunning in a sleeveless dress featuring a sleek satin train, and she added a fun twist with checkered shoes customized with her new last name and the wedding date on the backs. Her bridal look was completed with her hair elegantly swooped to the side and a medium veil, while her mom provided loving support as she got ready.
She brought along an oversized bridal bouquet and charming details like a handkerchief with her grandmother’s handwriting embroidered, adding a deeply personal touch to her day. Her perfume and an elegantly designed invitation suite were also part of her unique wedding details.
The emotional depth of the day was palpable, with her dad and son both shedding tears during their first looks with her. Dylan’s grandmother took on the role of one of the flower girls, adding a sweet and memorable element to the ceremony as one of the cutest flower girls we’ve ever seen.
Her dad walked her down the aisle and paused to give a heartfelt speech to the groom before her son, Sawyer, joined to officially give her away—a moment that tugged at everyone’s heartstrings, especially as Dylan got visibly emotional seeing Amber approach.
Their ceremony culminated in a joyful exit with self-contained streamers, making for a festive and picture-perfect moment. The outdoor setting, enriched by the crisp morning air and the gentle hues of autumn, provided a gorgeous backdrop for their celebration.
Congratulations, Amber and Dylan! Your wedding beautifully captured the essence of your love and the intimate connections you share with your family. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness and memorable moments as vibrant as your special day!
From the Bride:
My best friend of 20 years and Dylan’s brother were getting married Sept of 2019 and got a group of friends together to go to a Braves game in July of 2019. Even though my bff and I had been friends for 15 years at the time and her and Dylan’s brother had been together for 10, Dylan and I had never met before that night at the Braves game. We all enjoyed our time at the game and that was the beginning of us.
Honestly neither one of us remember the first date. 😂
Dylan proposed to me in front of a restaurant entrance while we were on vacation with his parents and brother’s family in Mexico.
We chose East Tennessee for our end of October wedding for the view mainly. We also love visiting the area and thought this was the perfect spot for a small intimate wedding.
I’m most looking forward to getting to finally have Dylan’s last name and everyone coming together to celebrate. We chose 10/28 because it is my Gma’s birthday. We lost her in Sept of 2010. Since she couldn’t be here to celebrate with us, it only seemed fitting to get married on her birthday.
We like sporting events (Braves games, Clemson football & basketball games) We’re not sure what date night lol.
