Charity and Cody’s dark October wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a beautifully somber and enchanting affair, perfect for the season. They opted for a dramatic setting, draping the chapel in black fabric and enhancing the atmosphere with our moody florals, candles, and lanterns that cast a romantic glow along the steps and pews.
Charity was a vision in a strapless white dress with a silky medium train, complemented by a soft one-layer veil that gracefully reached her mid-back. Her mom was by her side, helping her prepare for the day. Cody looked sharp in a classic black suit, standing proudly as his bride approached. The bridal party added a splash of color with bridesmaids dressed in purple, contrasting beautifully against the groomsmen’s black attire.
Their children played special roles: their daughters sauntered down the aisle as flower girls, and their son had the honor of walking Charity down the aisle. The moment was so poignant that Charity couldn’t help but shed tears as she joined Cody on the chapel steps, surrounded by family and friends.
This midday fall wedding was not just a celebration of Charity and Cody’s love but also a perfect reflection of their unique style, making it a memorable and heartfelt event. Congratulations, Charity and Cody! May your life together continue to be as deeply connected and beautifully orchestrated as your special day!
From the Bride
We where introduced to each other by some friends . It’s funny because he was in the process moving from Kentucky back to his home state Indiana during that time. Our first date was great he was very social, funny , and outgoing which Is the complete opposite of me.
Cody proposed! I came home from work and he was kneeled down on one knee with our daughter on his lap. I didn’t even notice what was going on I think I was just super shocked. I’m from Kentucky but I visit East Tennessee monthly. I have always loved Tennessee especially in the fall. Nothing is more beautiful than the mountains and we thought it was the perfect place to get married.
On our wedding day I look forward to marrying my soul mate. We got together in October so I knew I wanted an October wedding. I love Halloween and fall so I really wanted the date as close to Halloween as possible.
