Raegan and Justin – September 23, 2020
Forest Elopement
Raegan and Justin joined us from Louisiana today for their sweet forest elopement. I think our Louisiana couples are some of my favorites!! Love hearing that accent. Her ring is so uniquely beautiful, and you’re going to enjoy Justin’s smirk! Congratulations, Raegan and Justin!!!
From the Bride:
Unfortunately, we didn’t have a unique/fairytale meeting. We met through some family/friends and have been together since the beginning of 2015. On January 19, 2016, our pride and joy made his appearance. 5 years later and we’re still going strong and healthy. I couldn’t imagine my life without him, and I am beyond blessed he gave me such an amazing son. They’re both my rocks that keep me going.
Although, we didn’t do anything special for our first date except see a movie, we did spend 4 hours after in the driveway just talking and getting to know each other. That time getting to know him made me realize I wanted to be with him. We never had a proposal. We just both new what we wanted in life and came to an agreement together and here we are!
Having a big wedding isn’t what we wanted. We decided to surprise everyone after the wedding so we could have some time for ourselves to enjoy the moment with our son and immediate family only while on vacation. An elopement is just what we wanted without all the extra stress. I’m most excited about the first looks. We never had a time where we both had to get fancy/dressed up, nor have I ever been in a “full glam” with him. It’s a first marriage for each of us, and I can’t wait to experience the moments!
Fishing is our main go to for fun. We like any outdoors activities and trying new things together.
