Fall Morning Wedding
Alexis and Andrew – September 30, 2023
Let us share the heartwarming story of Alexis and Andrew, who chose Chapel in the Hollow for their enchanting fall morning wedding. Their day was filled with unique touches, love, and cherished memories.
The chapel was transformed into a vision of elegance, dressed in a beautiful blend of blush and black fabric. Moody florals and our enchanting lantern package added an element of mystery and romance to their setting. The result was nothing short of breathtaking.
Alexis, our stunning bride, donned a sleeveless dress with a graceful mid-length train that added an air of sophistication to her bridal ensemble. But here’s where the magic truly happens—she sported sneakers embroidered with their wedding date and the adorable likeness of their beloved cats. Andrew, the dashing groom, looked impeccable in a black suit, complete with a pocket square showcasing their feline friends.
As Alexis made her way down the aisle, her heartwarming journey was guided by the instrumental version of “Faithfully” by Journey, adding an extra layer of emotion to this unforgettable moment. It was a beautiful tribute to the path they were embarking upon.
Following the heartfelt ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated their love with a champagne toast surrounded by their cherished family and friends. It was a joyful moment that marked the beginning of their new chapter together.
The morning lighting added a radiant glow to their couple photos, capturing the essence of their love in every frame. It was a moment to treasure for a lifetime.
Alexis and Andrew’s fall morning wedding was a beautiful testament to their love story, filled with personal touches and heartfelt moments. It was an honor to be part of their special day and capture the essence of their unique journey. Cheers to the newlyweds!
From the Bride:
We met through online dating, of course! I was ready to take a break from online dating, meanwhile Andrew had been on the app ~1 week (or so he says…). He caught my attention because rather than your usual “hey”, “what’s up, how r u”, etc. he gave me a full paragraph (maybe more…) addressing nearly everything I had in my profile, which I appreciated!
For our first date, we had lunch at Metro Diner in St. Pete, FL. I remember asking him if he planned to always stay in Florida (we were both born and raised there), because I knew one day I’d wanted to leave. He told me “don’t tell anyone, but…” (it was our first date, who was I going to tell??). Anyway, he told me his brother and sister-in-law had plans to move to Knoxville, TN. I hadn’t mentioned Tennessee at that point, but my previous family vacations to Tennessee are what made me realize I’d want to leave Florida someday!
Andrew proposed at Mead’s Quarry in December. He spent the weekends before saying he wanted to do something “fun” but I kept telling him we needed to get Christmas shopping done!! He finally convinced me to go for a morning hike. 🙂
Moving to Tennessee was a crazy adventure that we took together, so it was fitting to get married in our new home. I am looking forward to being husband and wife! And being able to celebrate that with immediate friends and family. 🙂 There is no significance to the date. Andrew wanted it to to be on our dating anniversary (3/24), but March 2023 felt too soon and March 2024 seemed too far away. Something about September just felt right for me.
For fun, we love attending concerts both near and far, we love to explore new restaurants and breweries, and settling in at home with a puzzle or boardgames with friends and/or family.
