Last-Minute Elopement – Michelle and Lex

Last-Minute Elopement

Michelle and Lex – September 30, 2023

Love knows no bounds, and sometimes, a last-minute elopement is the most perfect way to celebrate it! We’re thrilled to introduce you to Michelle and Lex, a couple whose love story is as unique and beautiful as the nature that surrounds us.
The chapel was adorned in pristine white fabric, and it was lovingly complemented by our exquisite succulent florals. It was the ideal backdrop for this intimate celebration of love. Michelle chose to wear a short nude and white dress that perfectly embodied simplicity and elegance. Lex was effortlessly stylish in khakis paired with a crisp white dress shirt.
As they exchanged their heartfelt vows, the gentle sounds of nature provided the perfect soundtrack to their love story. It was a serene and truly magical moment, embraced by the beauty of the outdoors.
But the magic didn’t stop there—Michelle added a delightful twist by changing into a second dress, a white and flowy ensemble with spaghetti straps. Her quick wardrobe change provided a fresh and radiant look, ensuring that every moment of their day was as unique as their love story.
Hailing from the charming state of Georgia, Michelle and Lex have been on an incredible journey together for eight wonderful years. Fun fact: they have an alligator in their very own pond back home!
Their elopement ceremony was a simple and beautiful Christian affair, a reflection of the love and faith that binds them together. It was an honor to witness their love story unfold and capture the essence of their special day. Here’s to Michelle and Lex, whose love is as rare and captivating as an alligator in a Georgia
From the Bride:
We knew each other for years before dating. We were both married before and our lives just happened to cross when we were both divorced. We were friends before and we just started talking and hanging out. Our first date was very casual. We just hung out at a state park where we live. Lex proposed on a boat out in the water. We were coming back from dinner at a lakeside restaurant and he stopped, acting like he was looking for something. I went to the front of the boat and when I turned around, there he was on one knee.
We decided on an East Tennessee elopement since we were looking for something in the mountains, because we both love the outdoors. We love camping, going to the lake, and riding side by sides. We enjoy vacationing to the area on a yearly basis. I am looking forward to just being together in this quaint little place, sharing this moment with each other without outside distractions.
There’s not any reason we planned this date, besides the point that it just worked out in our calendars. It just so happens it is his (Lex’s) mom’s birthday! We have been together for 8 years and engaged for 6 of those. We kept saying we were going to wait to get married when all of the children were out on their own. Our children range in age from 19-24. Lex has two girls and I have two boys.
For fun, we have a get-away place (as we like to call it) on the lake. We love spending time on the lake throughout the year. We enjoy camping and riding side-by-sides. We enjoy riding dirt roads and just taking in the scenery. A nice night is grilling out, having a cocktail. Going out with friends is also fun!
