Fall Forest Micro Wedding
McKayla and Skylar – September 28, 2023
Amidst the enchanting beauty of the forest, McKayla and Skylar embarked on a breathtaking journey of love with a fall forest micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow. Their story is an amalgamation of creativity, love, and the magic of nature.
The chapel was adorned in a stunning combination of our pristine white fabric and a soft blue brought by the couple. It was draped around our lantern package, creating an ethereal ambiance that was simply enchanting. McKayla, a true artist at heart, created her own blue and white florals, which graced the chapel, bouquets, and boutonnieres, infusing the space with her personal touch and boundless talent.
McKayla looked positively radiant in her white spaghetti strap dress, featuring a stylish slit in the front and a short train that added a touch of elegance. Skylar, the dashing groom, was the epitome of charm in a tan suit that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of their forest setting. Her sister played a crucial role in helping her get ready, adding a heartwarming touch of sisterly love to the day.
Adding a playful twist to their procession, “flower girls” preceded McKayla with bubble guns, filling the air with joy and anticipation as her dad walked her down the aisle. It was a moment that encapsulated the essence of family, love, and togetherness.
McKayla and Skylar’s fall forest micro wedding was a celebration of love, creativity, and the undeniable magic of nature’s embrace. It was an honor to be part of their journey and capture the essence of their special day. Cheers to the newlyweds, whose love story is as beautiful and unique as the forest that surrounded them!
From the Bride:
We both had went to the same school. I had graduated 1 year before he did I was working at subway and he had come in with some friends from high school. We played each other on Trivia crack and never really stopped talking after that. He owed me dinner because I beat him in trivia crack we had a bet but first date was the normal dinner and just hanging out enjoy each others time. It was very loud because he had an audio system in his car I could hear him coming from a mile down the road. Luckily he didn’t start blaring the music until like the 3rd date.
Skylar proposed in Tennessee we had come down just for a vacation. We had gone to the Applebarn and went across the street to the river and were just walking around. He was waiting for people to leave. I was ready to go I had turned and was looking away from him and we were talking about marriage and proposing for some reason I had no clue. He said do I really have to get down on one knee then I had turned around and he was on his knee with the ring.
East Tennessee is the only place we vacation so we figured it would be perfect to get married. I am looking forward to getting married, it’s has been a long time coming. We are excited that our families get to come to Tennessee and and we all get to enjoy it together. There was no significance to the date, Skylar had said September when people asked when we were getting married so that is what we went with. We got engaged in September as well.
For fun, we enjoy going to car shows.
