East Tennessee Wedding
Sara and Jack – October 13, 2023
Sara and Jack’s East Tennessee wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a true love story brought to life. The chapel was bedecked in enchanting sand and burgundy fabrics, beautifully harmonizing with our bohemian florals, as well as the warm glow of lanterns and the rustic charm of our simple pumpkin package. Adding a dash of whimsy to their decor was an adorable “Till Death” wooden heart sign, a unique touch that made their day even more special.
Sara’s bridal ensemble was sheer perfection: a sleeveless lace dress with a dramatic plunging neckline, a delightful short train, and let’s not forget those Victorian-style boots that added an extra layer of charm. One cherished detail she wore close to her heart was a locket containing her grandmother’s treasured memory, complete with a picture of her beloved grandfather. Jack looked every bit the dashing groom in his black suit, expertly paired with a burgundy tie that perfectly complemented their color palette.
With family and friends gathered from near and far, Sara and Jack’s wedding day was not only a celebration of their love but a heartwarming reunion of loved ones who joined from different corners of the country.
Their love story, a testament to commitment, was a day to remember forever. We were thrilled to be a part of it!
From the Bride:
Jack and I started talking in Oct. of 2017 on Plenty of Fish. We lived an hour apart, but enjoyed talking so much that we decided to continue to talk on the phone until after the Holidays incase one of us changed our minds… well we didn’t.
Jack and I finally met on January 20th, 2018 at the Los Angeles Zoo in Los Angeles CA which was half way for each of us. We were both smitten from the start! We walked the Zoo 5 times, and when their was nothing let to see, we decided to explore Hollywood. We went everywhere and never had a moment of silence. We talked about everything. After spending the day checking out Hollywood hot spots, we went to dinner, ate for 2 hours and after we were done, we sat in the parking lots and talked and finally kisses for the first time. It was 10:00pm before we said goodbye. There was no proposal. We finally just decided it was time to get married and we started planning. October is a very special month for us. Its the month we started talking, the month we moved to TN, the month we decided to get married and we both love Halloween… so what date is more fitting than Friday the 13th in October?
For fun, we love bowling, comedy shows, live music, long drives looking for deer. We collect taxidermy and make shadow boxes with pieces we find. We like to stay home and watch TV or sit on the patio and talk.
