Destination Elopement
Raenada and Mark – October 13, 2023
Raenada and Mark brought the charm of simplicity to their destination elopement in the breathtaking Smoky Mountains. In harmony with the natural beauty of the outdoors, they chose to keep the chapel au naturel, without any added fabric or florals. Their love was the centerpiece of the day.
Raenada exuded grace in her relaxed choice of attire – a short black dress that showcased her elegant casual style. Meanwhile, Mark looked dashing in jeans, a black shirt, and a classy burgundy tie, matching the essence of this intimate occasion. Their two boys, who shared in the joy of their parents’ special day, were dressed to complement the simple and elegant theme.
Raenada created a charming little bouquet to hold, a lovely touch that added a dash of personal flair to this intimate ceremony.Their wedding was a celebration of love in its purest form – sweet, fun, and entirely laid-back. Raenada, Mark, and their boys shared a day full of cherished memories, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Smoky Mountains.
From the Bride:
We met back in 2010 at a bar I was working at. Our first date was a trip to Walmart & he hit a slick spot & nearly wrecked his truck! Mark proposed. He had shopped online & arranged with his best friend to pick up & drop off the ring. He ran out to his truck, came back inside & proposed but not before asking my boys’ permission. I get the nervous giggles so I pretty much laughed through it before finally saying yes!
After a divorce & a rough couple of years, my boys’ love for racing brought us to Bristol. I loved the area so the following year we took a week long trip to explore the mountains & we have been hooked ever since. I fell in love with East Tennessee & it was the breath of fresh air I needed. Tennessee holds a special place in my heart & I couldn’t see marrying this man anywhere else! I am looking forward to making our commitment official!!!
We love attending our boys’ sporting events, occasional motorcycle rides, road trips & hiking. For the most part we’re homebodies but we enjoy a nice dinner followed by true crime shows or we grab some scratch tickets & coffee & go watch the sunrise/set at the lake.
