East Tennessee Elopement – Randi and Travis

Randi and Travis – October 23, 2020

East Tennessee Elopement

Travis and Randi joined us October 23rd for a super sweet East Tennessee elopement. Her parents sent a letter for her to have during the ceremony. Randi created a pair of cufflinks with her handwriting for Travis. These two were so much fun to spend some time with! And… here’s a pic with the new greenery hoop (updates to come to it soon). Congratulations Randi and Travis!!
From the Bride:
We had been friends since 2010! He always had a crush on me, but I didn’t feel the same way back then. We had about a two year gap where we didn’t speak. Then one day in 2017, he text and called me. The rest is history…with a few bumps along the road, of course. Early on when we had just started talking again, I convinced him to go car shopping with me. After purchasing a car, we went to dinner at The Village Anchor. It was a little awkward for me because we hadn’t spoken in so long and everything seemed so new and different. He had a different perspective though and felt we picked up right where we left off!
He proposed on 9/27/2020. So yes, we planned our elopement before the proposal! He cooked dinner for us at and talked me into carrying furniture back onto the deck. That was really just his ploy to get me outside around the back of our house to see his ‘Marry Me” sign hung up on the house. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! We wanted to elope out of state, but not too far away. I began researching and thought your chapel was the perfect location! We are most excited to be seeing each other all dressed up! It doesn’t happen too often.
