Gatlinburg Wedding
From the Bride:We were high school classmates that only knew each other in passing. We don’t remember really ever speaking to each other back then to be honest. 8 years later, 120 miles apart, and half heartbroken we reconnected through the great power of social media. Many 2 hour drives and weekend getaways built something beautiful. We have now been together 6 years (living together 5) and have never looked back.
The first date was his work Christmas party that we ended up ditching for pizza and laughs. 🙂 Scotty did! It was his birthday weekend in Biloxi, MS but to my surprise I was the one getting a present. He kept it sweet and simple with a beautiful view of the ocean.
Scotty’s family has owned a cabin in Pigeon Forge since he was very little. He was 6 months old on his first trip to the smokies. I was honored to be the first girlfriend he ever brought with him to TN and it’s the place of our first vacation together. I completely fell in love with the mountains. We have been back ever year since and hope to be going even more often in the future. It’s also our hope and dream to permanently live in TN one day.I’m most looking forward to cake… JK 🙂 Making it forever with my love.
We are pretty simple people who enjoy the little things. We are 100% homebodies! Scotty’s family owns a fishing camp so we have weekend getaways on the lake. Scotty is a big movie buff and has a crazy collection. I like baking, crafting, and flowers. We are big sports fans! *Go Saints* We can be a little quiet at first but will usually warm up into giant goof balls.
