Sam and Todd – October 24, 2020
Tiny Wedding
For October 24th’s first tiny wedding, Sam and Todd joined us with their families. Samantha’s dress had the most gorgeous lace on it, and she had two adorable boys to stand up with her at the chapel. They set up a super cute sanitization station near the wall with some adorable sanitizer favors and matching masks. Congratulations, Sam and Todd!!
From the Bride:
We met through mutual friends in 2018 and have been inseparable ever since. We have 2 children, Colton (11 years old) and Grayson (8 months old). For the first date, we went to a friends house at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia and had dinner and drinks. We spent the evening getting to know each other and it was like we had known each other for years! We’ve been inseparable ever since.
Todd had a Christmas ornament special made that said “Will you marry me?” He had it hidden on a Christmas tree located at The Hotel Roanoke in Roanoke, VA. We walked through and looked at the many decorated trees and I spotted the ornament, turned around and he was down on one knee proposing. Our best friends were present and got the whole thing on video! It was absolutely beautiful, thoughtful and special.
We chose Tennessee because it is a magical place. It’s beautiful and peaceful and the perfect place for us to begin our new life together surrounded by our most special friends and relatives. I am looking forward to seeing the man I’m going to spend the rest of my life with standing up there waiting for me to join him in the next journey we are about to begin together.
