Kam and Ethan’s fall forest wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a breathtaking celebration wrapped in the rich colors of autumn. They chose a stunning decor of blush and black fabric, beautifully matched with our moody florals to create a dramatic and romantic atmosphere for their special day.
Kam looked absolutely radiant in a white satin dress featuring a sweetheart neckline and an impressive train adorned with buttons down the back, complemented by a mid-length veil sprinkled with pearls, adding a touch of elegance to her bridal look.
Her mom played a pivotal role, masterfully setting up the cake table and organizing the day’s events, ensuring everything went smoothly. Kam’s sister provided loving support, helping her get ready for the moment she would walk down the aisle.
After exchanging their vows in the enchanting setting of the chapel, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed cutting and serving a beautifully crafted cake, a sweet start to their new life together. The day continued with a photo session in the field during the golden hour, capturing the magical light and the joy of their celebration in stunning photographs.
Congratulations, Kam and Ethan! Your wedding was not just a union of hearts but a picturesque celebration of love and family amidst the beauty of fall. May your journey together be as beautiful and filled with love as your wedding day!

We met our sophomore year of high school when I moved to Hartwell where Ethan lived. We honestly don’t remember our first date! We were babies! Lol! Ethan races dirt track cars and got out of his car after a race and proposed. I thought he was falling down from exhaustion and jumped because it scared me!
We decided on East Tennessee because Chapel in the Hollow is perfect for what we wanted and we were already going to be in Pigeon Forge for a yearly family vacation. On our wedding day I am most looking forward to wearing my dress and seeing the pictures!!
What do we do for fun? What is Fun? We have a 17 month old that still doesn’t sleep through the night! Haha! Other than track nights, saving money and sleeping is our fun these days.

Caitlyn and Rory celebrated their love with a simple October wedding at Chapel in the Hollow, surrounded by the vibrant hues of autumn. They chose elegant sand fabric to adorn the chapel, perfectly complemented by our lush succulent florals, creating a serene and stylish setting for their special day.
Caitlyn looked stunning in a sleeveless dress, beautifully detailed with colorful embroidery at the waist and along the upper back, adding a unique and vibrant touch to her bridal look. Rory matched the lightness of the day in a sharp light grey suit, embodying classic elegance. Her daughter, the adorable flower girl, twirled in a white and minty green dress, adding a sweet touch of color to the ceremony.
Before walking down the aisle, Caitlyn shared a special moment with her daughter, dancing in the bridal suite to a folksy version of“You’re My Best Friend” by Queen, a heartwarming memory they’ll cherish forever.
Her brother-in-law performed the ceremony with personal flair, and the couple included a meaningful sand ceremony, symbolizing the blending of their lives. After the vows, the celebration continued with family photos, capturing the joy and love shared among their closest loved ones. We then stole away to the forest for some intimate couple photos, embracing the natural beauty surrounding them.
Congratulations, Caitlyn and Rory! Your wedding was not just a celebration of your union but a beautiful expression of family and togetherness. May your life together be as colorful and filled with love as your wedding day!

We met on play dates as children because our moms were best friends. They would take us kids to Chimpy’s Pizza Safari (similar to Chuckee Cheese) so the moms could chat. When we were old enough that the moms could get together without us kids, we stopped seeing each other. We reconnected a couple of years ago and are so thankful for the love that has grown from a childhood friendship. For our first date we met at a local pub for dinner. It was so fun to see each other as adults after so many years had passed. I remember laughing until my cheeks hurt taking about old times, sharing stories of my daughter Wren and our lives all these years later. Rory later shared a journal entry with me that he wrote that night after our date.
Rory proposed to me on a beach in Puerto Rico. We were on a family vacation with my whole family and daughter Wren. Wren was in on the secret and kept it from me the whole time! It was just the three of us on the beach when he proposed. It was so special to have Wren a part of it and to then share and celebrate with family moments after.
We decided to get married in East Tennessee because we love nature, trees, and mountains so it was the perfect place for our wedding. On our wedding day we look forward to sharing our love and commitment, having Wren be a part of it all, and having our closest family and friends there to witness and celebrate with us. We picked this date because Fall is our favorite time of year!
We spend our time together as a family with Wren. Playing whatever silly games she imagines, making art, reading stories, and playing outside together.
Heather and Joe’s October micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a heartfelt occasion, marking the second time we’ve had the pleasure of celebrating with Heather’s family. Her sister’s wedding here four years ago left us with beautiful memories, and it was truly special to welcome them back!
The couple chose a striking decor of black and hunter green fabric, beautifully paired with our moody florals—a combination that perfectly set the tone for their autumn wedding. Heather looked stunning in a strapless mermaid style dress with a short train, her hair styled in soft waves, enhanced by a gorgeous clip, and her lovely tattoos proudly on display. Joe complemented her look with a dark green suit, adding to the elegance of the day, while their son, serving as the ring bearer, added a dash of charm in his blue and white outfit.
Before the ceremony, Heather and Joe shared a private first look, a moment filled with anticipation and joy. They brought their own officiant, who performed the ceremony with grace and poise, making the vows even more meaningful.
Following the ceremony, we took some family photos, capturing the joy of their loved ones. The focus then shifted to the newlyweds, with Heather absolutely glowing in the love-filled atmosphere. The day was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and new beginnings.
Congratulations, Heather and Joe! Your wedding was not just a union of hearts but a joyful reunion for your family at Chapel in the Hollow. May your life together be filled with as much happiness and love as your wedding day!
Michael and Trudy chose to renew their vows in the heart of East Tennessee, giving us the honor of hosting their special day at our venue. Years after their courthouse wedding, they wanted a heartfelt celebration with their family, and it was truly a day filled with love and joy.
Trudy’s daughter masterfully planned the event, ensuring every detail was perfect. Their family was deeply involved: Trudy’s two daughters and sons-in-law stood up as witnesses, and her grandson had the honor of walking her down the aisle. The love between Michael and Trudy was palpable, lighting up their faces as they gazed at each other, renewing their promises.
This year, they also decided to update their wedding rings—Trudy’s now sparkles with gorgeous rose gold, and Michael’s boasts intricate blue and silver scrollwork, symbols of their enduring commitment.
The celebration featured delightful treats, with a cake and little packages for each guest containing a chocolate-dipped strawberry, cupcake, and brownie, adding a sweet touch to the festivities. They ended the ceremony surrounded by bubbles, creating a whimsical and joyful atmosphere.
Post-ceremony, we enjoyed some extra special moments as Trudy’s granddaughter, Destiny, and her fiancé also had their engagement photos taken on our property. Despite a bit of rain, everyone was a trooper, and we captured beautiful moments at various photo spots around the venue.
Thressa and Craig celebrated their love with a picturesque Smoky Mountain wedding ceremony at Chapel in the Hollow, beautifully capturing the essence of fall. They chose a serene dusty blue to adorn the chapel, perfectly complemented by our vibrant wildflower florals, creating a lovely backdrop for their special day.
Thressa looked effortlessly elegant in a simple white sleeveless dress with delicate ruching at the middle, while Craig was dapper in a classic navy suit. Her friend and sister played pivotal roles in helping her get ready, adding to the joy and excitement of the morning.
The ceremony was a true family affair: Thressa’s brother had the honor of walking her down the aisle, and their two teenage daughters stood proudly with them, celebrating the union of their family.
Guests were invited to leave their marks on a large wooden sign, a lasting memento of the day filled with personal messages and well-wishes. The day was embraced by the crisp feel of fall, and they were fortunate to have clear skies without a hint of rain, making their day even more perfect.
As the morning unfolded, smoke on the mountains provided a breathtaking backdrop for their couple photos, capturing the magical and ethereal beauty of the Smokies.
Congratulations, Thressa and Craig! May your journey together be as beautiful and filled with love as your wedding day amidst the stunning scenery of the Smoky Mountains. Here’s to many years of happiness and memorable moments!

We met when we both were in college. I was working on my graduate degree and he was working on his engineering degree. For our first date we went and had Mexican and it was an amazing first day. Craig proposed to me. It was at home. It was perfect.
We decided to get married in East Tennessee because we love the mountains. We wanted to have a small wedding with all the people we loved without all the stress. On our wedding day I am looking forward to sharing the day with the people we love most. We are going to get to see all of our family for an entire weekend.
Our family time is so important to us. We have two children together and four children total. We love to travel. We enjoy camping and hiking.
