Smoky Mountain Wedding Ceremony – Thressa and Craig

Smoky Mountain Wedding Ceremony

Thressa and Craig – September 28, 2024

Thressa and Craig celebrated their love with a picturesque Smoky Mountain wedding ceremony at Chapel in the Hollow, beautifully capturing the essence of fall.  They chose a serene dusty blue to adorn the chapel, perfectly complemented by our vibrant wildflower florals, creating a lovely backdrop for their special day.
Thressa looked effortlessly elegant in a simple white sleeveless dress with delicate ruching at the middle, while Craig was dapper in a classic navy suit.  Her friend and sister played pivotal roles in helping her get ready, adding to the joy and excitement of the morning.
The ceremony was a true family affair: Thressa’s brother had the honor of walking her down the aisle, and their two teenage daughters stood proudly with them, celebrating the union of their family.
Guests were invited to leave their marks on a large wooden sign, a lasting memento of the day filled with personal messages and well-wishes. The day was embraced by the crisp feel of fall, and they were fortunate to have clear skies without a hint of rain, making their day even more perfect.
As the morning unfolded, smoke on the mountains provided a breathtaking backdrop for their couple photos, capturing the magical and ethereal beauty of the Smokies.
Congratulations, Thressa and Craig! May your journey together be as beautiful and filled with love as your wedding day amidst the stunning scenery of the Smoky Mountains. Here’s to many years of happiness and memorable moments!
From the Bride
We met when we both were in college. I was working on my graduate degree and he was working on his engineering degree. For our first date we went and had Mexican and it was an amazing first day. Craig proposed to me. It was at home. It was perfect.
We decided to get married in East Tennessee because we love the mountains. We wanted to have a small wedding with all the people we loved without all the stress. On our wedding day I am looking forward to sharing the day with the people we love most. We are going to get to see all of our family for an entire weekend.
Our family time is so important to us. We have two children together and four children total. We love to travel. We enjoy camping and hiking.
