Midday October Micro Wedding – Autumn and Jaron

Midday October Micro Wedding

Autumn and Jaron – October 2.2025

There’s something magical about an October wedding in the Smoky Mountains, and Autumn + Jaron’s intimate midday micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was nothing short of enchanting. Surrounded by golden leaves, cozy fall light, and the people who matter most, these two tied the knot in a celebration that was equal parts simple, sentimental, and stylish.

A Dreamy Fall Wedding Setting

The chapel was draped in cream and dusty blue fabric, accented with our signature blue and yellow florals. To add to the cozy fall vibes, Autumn + Jaron chose our candle and lantern package, which bathed the ceremony space in a soft, romantic glow. Midday weddings often bring bright, cheerful light, but the candles added an extra layer of warmth that made the whole scene feel intimate and magical.

The Bride + Groom

Autumn looked effortlessly elegant in a sleeveless white gown with delicate beading — a perfect choice for a relaxed October micro wedding. Instead of a long train, she chose a lighter style that was ideal for moving easily between ceremony and portraits. Jaron kept things classic in a crisp white dress shirt paired with khakis, giving their day a laid-back yet timeless look.
One of the most touching moments came when Autumn’s mom walked her down the aisle. The joy and pride on her face said it all — a beautiful reminder of the family bonds that make weddings so special.

The Ceremony + Portraits

Officiated by Ian Parrott, their ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, surrounded by the rustic beauty of the Tennessee woods. After the vows, the couple took family portraits at the chapel before exploring some of our favorite photo locations — including the ivy-covered vines and the charming bridal suite backdrop, where the soft October light made everything glow.

Fairytale Micro Wedding – Brittany and Nick

Fairytale Micro Wedding at Chapel in the Hollow

Brittany and Nick – September 30, 2025

Soft. Sweet. Sparkly. Brittany and Nick’s fairytale micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was pure magic in the Smoky Mountains. Their day was filled with romantic details, heartfelt family moments, and just the right amount of enchantment.

A Dreamy Chapel Setup

For their ceremony, Brittany and Nick chose a whimsical mix of cream draping and white florals to dress the chapel. To add extra sparkle, they included glowing candles lining the aisle and additional florals on the steps, creating the feeling of a storybook forest wedding.

The Bride + Groom

Brittany looked like a true forest princess in her gown from Vow’d—a soft, off-the-shoulder design with embroidered leaves and a glittery skirt that shimmered with every step. Her glittering veil added the perfect finishing touch.
Nick complemented her look perfectly in a deep green suit, a stylish choice that blended personality and charm while tying into the natural setting.

Family-Centered Ceremony

One of the most beautiful aspects of this micro wedding was how family played a role in every moment. His mom, bonus dad, and sister helped bring the chapel to life, while her mom and sister helped her get ready. Brittany’s father proudly walked her down the aisle, and Nick’s brother-in-law officiated the ceremony.
They even included a ring warming ceremony, inviting each guest to hold their rings and bless them with love and good wishes. This symbolic ritual made the day even more meaningful.

Sweet Details + Portraits

After exchanging vows, Brittany and Nick shared a sweet surprise by gifting their officiant a special present. Then, they took family photos at the chapel before exploring the property for couple’s portraits. From laughter-filled moments under the trees to romantic snuggles in the field with a breathtaking mountain view, their photos captured the perfect mix of romance and fun.

From the Bride:

We met playing video games. We were best friends for a while and we’d go weeks without talking to each other because we suck at texting back. Eventually I (Brittany) started talking to him constantly because I had the fattest crush on him. Once we kinda realized we had feelings for each other, we talked more and I told him before we were even dating that we were going to get married, which in any other circumstance would’ve been a huge red flag 🚩 from me but I wasn’t wrong. We’re getting married on our 4 year anniversary.
The first date was us going to this island called Put-in-Bay but we accidentally got off the boat on the wrong island. That’s when we realized neither one of us would freak out over mistakes. We just laughed it off and figured out a way to the next island.
Nick proposed. I moved to Ohio from Kentucky for him. So he got my mom and my sister and nieces to come to Ohio for mine and my nieces birthday. He told me he got us a photography session to get family pictures and I knew what was going to happen. But it still didn’t change how much I cried. So all my engagement pictures are of me sobbing lol
We’ve got family everywhere. We’ve got family in Florida, Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan, so we decided instead of some people having to travel and some people not traveling, that we would just have everyone travel lol. It was my moms idea though, she got married in Tennessee also.
We LOVE legos. We love to build lego sets and if y’all know anything about legos I just bought him the Lego Rivendell set which costs like $500 lol. That’s our biggest hobby we share. We love horror tv shows. We go on way more dates than a typical couple but we just can’t get enough of each other and we both work in the hospitals so we work 12 hour shifts but we have lots of days off to go on dates.

Midday Fall Elopement – Candice and Dave

Midday Fall Elopement at Chapel in the Hollow

Candice and Dave – September 30, 2025

If you’ve ever dreamed of a midday fall elopement in the Smoky Mountains, Candice and Dave’s wedding at Chapel in the Hollow is the perfect inspiration. With whimsical details, gorgeous autumn light, and even a surprise Bigfoot cameo, their day was equal parts romantic and playful.

A Forest Chapel Dressed in Dusty Blue

For their celebration, Candice and Dave styled the chapel with dusty blue and cream draping, accented by our blue and yellow floral arrangements. The soft tones blended beautifully with the bright autumn colors of East Tennessee, creating a fairytale backdrop in the woods.
Chapel in the Hollow offers a variety of included accessories and draping options, making it easy for couples to design a space that feels completely their own without the stress of a large-scale wedding.

The Bride’s Autumn Fairy Look

Candice’s style was effortlessly enchanting. She wore a Morilee gown from Stillwhite with layers of soft tulle, a lace overlay, and a keyhole back. Instead of heels, she paired her dress with Converse sneakers—the perfect choice for exploring woodland paths after the ceremony.
Her fiery red hair, styled into an elegant updo by Southern Sirens, gave her the look of an autumn fairy stepping straight out of a storybook. With every detail, she balanced comfort, beauty, and personality.

The Groom’s Sweet Support

Dave looked sharp in a classic grey suit from Men’s Wearhouse, but what stood out most was his quiet tenderness. Before the ceremony, he helped his bride get ready—setting the tone for a marriage built on love, teamwork, and care.
When Candice walked herself down the aisle (a bold, empowering move!), his face lit up with joy. The moment captured everything a micro wedding is about—intimacy, authenticity, and pure connection.

A Ceremony with a Twist

Their elopement sign greeted guests at the chapel steps, doubling as a fun photo prop later. And just when you thought their day couldn’t be any more unique… Bigfoot showed up!
Hidden in the trees, a sasquatch cutout became part of their photo session. It added humor, surprise, and a touch of legendary whimsy to their day—proof that your wedding can (and should!) reflect your personality.

Sweet Celebrations + Stunning Photos

After exchanging vows with officiant Ian Parrott, the couple shared a cupcake toast, then explored the property with Star Noir Studio. From the chapel archway to the forest trails, every corner of the venue offered perfect spots for capturing their laughter and love.
Midday light streamed through the trees, highlighting the fall foliage and adding natural magic to every image.
From the Bride
I started working at the foundry. I thought most the people were older. After a few days, I finally saw Dave for the first time. He seemed younger, less rigid than the rest of the group. He had to train me on his job. He was a bit cranky to lose his quiet space. After talking a bit, we sort of clicked. We became quick friends. We had a lot of laughs about all the rumors people made up about us. After a few years of being only friends, we both found ourselves single. We started hanging out more.  On our first date we drove across the state in a winter blizzard to go to a Collective Soul concert. The unique weather, the casino it was at and each others company made it an awesome and memorable first date.
Dave proposed but it was more of a realization that it was our next step in our love we have for each other as we travel into our future journeys together. The beautiful wilderness, the lore and history. It is a spectacular place and a brag to tell people we are traveling to the Smoky Mountains to be married. We are looking forward to having a stress free wedding day and it being just the two of us. We chose this date because we thought the weather would be great and Tennessee would be beautiful that time of year.
For fun we have bon fires with our 3 doxies and friends that stop over. We also kayak with his sister & brother in-law when we can. We also enjoy scary movie nights. We have a lot of fun when his adult children come over for Mario cart.

Harley Davidson Themed Elopement – Sandra and Terry

Harley Davidson Elopement at Chapel in the Hollow

Sandra and Terry – September 30, 2025

Some love stories are best told on the open road—and Sandra + Terry’s Harley Davidson elopement at Chapel in the Hollow was one of them. Set against the backdrop of our little forest chapel in the Smoky Mountains, their wedding blended soft romance with biker soul, creating a morning ceremony that was unforgettable.

A Whimsical Forest Setting

Our Smoky Mountain wedding chapel offers couples a relaxed, stress-free way to celebrate their love surrounded by nature. For Sandra and Terry, the forest came alive with a mix of rustic and bohemian details. White and champagne fabric draped the chapel, accented by our signature boho florals and succulent pew wreaths—a perfect balance of elegance and wild spirit.

The Bride + Groom’s Style

Sandra was radiant in a strapless gown embroidered with fall-toned florals, a nod to the autumn leaves beginning to turn. She paired it with tan cowboy boots for a country-chic touch and carried a DIY bouquet that was just as vibrant as her personality. Her gorgeous hair and makeup by Southern Sirens completed the look.
Terry kept things relaxed but stylish in light jeans, a crisp white shirt, and a tan suede vest—perfectly complementing Sandra’s boho-country vibe.

Walking Together into Forever

Instead of a traditional aisle entrance, Sandra and Terry walked hand-in-hand down the aisle to “I’m Gonna Love You” by Cody Johnson & Carrie Underwood. This symbolic choice highlighted their commitment to stepping into marriage side by side.

A Sweet Celebration

The couple treated guests to a delicious cake from Cakes by Bakin’ Bishop, styled with fall-inspired décor that tied everything together. Event management was coordinated by Beverly with Custom Love Gifts & Events, ensuring every detail flowed seamlessly.

Harley Love in the Smokies

Of course, no Harley wedding is complete without the bike itself! Sandra and Terry brought along their Whiskey Fire Road Glide, and it stole the show in their portraits by Star Noir Studio. Against the forest backdrop, the gleaming motorcycle was a bold symbol of freedom, adventure, and the road ahead.
From the Bride
We met thru our motorcycle riding club back in 2018 and became close friends thru the years. Fun fact we both have the same middle name – Sandra Lynn and Terry Lynn. We didn’t really have a first date since we already knew each other and were always going out on lunch rides and dinner rides. Our first vacation as a couple together was special, 4th of July on Carolina Beach.
Terry proposed to me on a sunset cruise off of Anna Maria Island in March of this year during my birthday week vacation. This had an extra special meaning as it was my first time back to the island since my father passed away. He lived on island, and I was able to show him all the special places my dad and I enjoyed going to. Now I can add that special memory as well. We attended the Smoky Mountain bike week in Sept of 2024 and fell in love with the area. We knew we wanted to come back again this year to enjoy more riding in the area and discussed turning it into an elopement/honeymoon/bike week. He choose Chapel in the Hollow for us.
I would say walking down the aisle hand in hand with my soulmate to start this new chapter in our lives is what I am most looking forward to . Terry says getting married, nothing supersedes that. Bless him he is not a romantic. Nothing special about the date we just wanted to do it during bike week and I love fall weather. We enjoy motorcycle rides, fishing, kayaking, dancing, swimming, relaxing, the beach. We are pretty much always together. We carpool to work, go to the gym together, cook together. We also enjoy smoking meats and grilling. Together is our favorite place ❤

September Monday Micro Wedding – Ashley and Chris

 September Monday Micro Wedding

Ashley and Chris – September 29, 2025

There’s something magical about a September wedding in East Tennessee — the soft light filtering through the trees, the cool hint of fall in the air, and the cozy intimacy of a micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow. Ashley and Chris chose a Monday to say their “I dos,” and their wedding day was filled with love, joy, and a few happy tears that made it unforgettable.

Dusty Blue + White Elegance in the Woods

For their décor, Ashley and Chris selected our dusty blue and white fabric draping, perfectly paired with the blue and yellow floral and lantern package. This timeless combination created a soft, romantic look that complemented the natural beauty of our forest chapel. See more accessory options here.

Ashley looked effortlessly elegant in a sleek spaghetti-strap gown with a pearl-studded mid-length veil that danced in the September breeze. Her cream cowboy boots added a touch of country charm — a nod to her personality and the Southern setting.

A Family-Centered Ceremony

This wedding wasn’t just about two people coming together — it was about creating a family. Ashley’s moms helped her get ready, and her dad proudly walked her down the aisle. Chris’s reaction when he saw her was everything — full of emotion and happy tears.

The ceremony was made even more special because it was officiated by Chris’s father, with his three sons standing by his side. When the couple sealed their vows with a kiss, the family cheered — and Chris’s sons shed tears of joy, knowing Ashley was officially part of their family.

Bubble Exit + Jeep Love

Following the ceremony, Ashley and Chris shared a joyful bubble exit that had everyone smiling. Family portraits at the chapel captured the excitement of the day, and then the couple shared a few more bubble-filled moments for fun.

One of the highlights came when they made their way to our vintage 1941 Jeep Willys, a favorite photo spot at Chapel in the Hollow. This detail was extra special because both Ashley and Chris own Jeeps they’ve restored — making this moment a perfect symbol of their love story.

From the Bride

We met through my mother she was dating a friend of his. On our first date we went to a motorcycle party and had an amazing time the weather was perfect and the food was even better. After the party we rode on motorcycles home with my mom and her boyfriend. Chris then continued riding to a pier on the lake where he made up a cheesy reason to stop and walk the pier and at the end we had our first kiss. We have been together everyday since.

Chris proposed to me. I was at home on the couch taking a nap. He called me and woke me up. Told me to go outside and help him look for something in our shed. I went into the shed looking, I made a joke to him about not locking me in the shed. I turned around and he was on one knee. I cried and of course said yes. We picked East Tennessee for our wedding because it was our first place we went on vacation together. On our wedding day I can’t wait to see my soon to be husband in a suit!

We enjoy going to concerts, anything outdoors, spending quality time with our sons. We both have vintage jeeps that we have restored. We actually drive mine down from Ohio.
