Harley Davidson Themed Elopement – Sandra and Terry

Harley Davidson Elopement at Chapel in the Hollow

Sandra and Terry – September 30, 2025

Some love stories are best told on the open road—and Sandra + Terry’s Harley Davidson elopement at Chapel in the Hollow was one of them. Set against the backdrop of our little forest chapel in the Smoky Mountains, their wedding blended soft romance with biker soul, creating a morning ceremony that was unforgettable.

A Whimsical Forest Setting

Our Smoky Mountain wedding chapel offers couples a relaxed, stress-free way to celebrate their love surrounded by nature. For Sandra and Terry, the forest came alive with a mix of rustic and bohemian details. White and champagne fabric draped the chapel, accented by our signature boho florals and succulent pew wreaths—a perfect balance of elegance and wild spirit.

The Bride + Groom’s Style

Sandra was radiant in a strapless gown embroidered with fall-toned florals, a nod to the autumn leaves beginning to turn. She paired it with tan cowboy boots for a country-chic touch and carried a DIY bouquet that was just as vibrant as her personality. Her gorgeous hair and makeup by Southern Sirens completed the look.
Terry kept things relaxed but stylish in light jeans, a crisp white shirt, and a tan suede vest—perfectly complementing Sandra’s boho-country vibe.

Walking Together into Forever

Instead of a traditional aisle entrance, Sandra and Terry walked hand-in-hand down the aisle to “I’m Gonna Love You” by Cody Johnson & Carrie Underwood. This symbolic choice highlighted their commitment to stepping into marriage side by side.

A Sweet Celebration

The couple treated guests to a delicious cake from Cakes by Bakin’ Bishop, styled with fall-inspired décor that tied everything together. Event management was coordinated by Beverly with Custom Love Gifts & Events, ensuring every detail flowed seamlessly.

Harley Love in the Smokies

Of course, no Harley wedding is complete without the bike itself! Sandra and Terry brought along their Whiskey Fire Road Glide, and it stole the show in their portraits by Star Noir Studio. Against the forest backdrop, the gleaming motorcycle was a bold symbol of freedom, adventure, and the road ahead.
From the Bride
We met thru our motorcycle riding club back in 2018 and became close friends thru the years. Fun fact we both have the same middle name – Sandra Lynn and Terry Lynn. We didn’t really have a first date since we already knew each other and were always going out on lunch rides and dinner rides. Our first vacation as a couple together was special, 4th of July on Carolina Beach.
Terry proposed to me on a sunset cruise off of Anna Maria Island in March of this year during my birthday week vacation. This had an extra special meaning as it was my first time back to the island since my father passed away. He lived on island, and I was able to show him all the special places my dad and I enjoyed going to. Now I can add that special memory as well. We attended the Smoky Mountain bike week in Sept of 2024 and fell in love with the area. We knew we wanted to come back again this year to enjoy more riding in the area and discussed turning it into an elopement/honeymoon/bike week. He choose Chapel in the Hollow for us.
I would say walking down the aisle hand in hand with my soulmate to start this new chapter in our lives is what I am most looking forward to . Terry says getting married, nothing supersedes that. Bless him he is not a romantic. Nothing special about the date we just wanted to do it during bike week and I love fall weather. We enjoy motorcycle rides, fishing, kayaking, dancing, swimming, relaxing, the beach. We are pretty much always together. We carpool to work, go to the gym together, cook together. We also enjoy smoking meats and grilling. Together is our favorite place ❤
