Of all of the wedding chapels in Tennessee, Rachel and John chose us to celebrate with their families on August 8th for our third wedding. These two had so much verve and vigor that you can feel it oozing out of the photos. They took a moment for a quick prayer after their first look before all of the guests came rolling in, and although he didn’t shed any tears, you could tell how excited he was to see her in her dress. Congratulations Rachel and John!!
From the Bride:
John and I met in 2016 when we were placed at the same hospital for our clinical rotation in school. We developed a friendship but didn’t start dating until August of 2018. For our first date, John took me to his hometown and gave me a little tour. He showed me all the cool parts and places that I had never been to or seen before. I’ll always remember when he took me to World’s Fair Park and asked me to dance on stage. We both knew right then and there that this was the start of something truly special.
John and I would always go eno in the local park. On May 24th, John and I decided to go eno, which was not out of the ordinary. When I went to put my strap on the tree, I turned around to John down on one knee. It was a long time coming and we were both so excited to finally be engaged!
We chose Tennessee because we both love the scenery and mountains that East Tennesse provides. We are most looking forward to being Mr. and Mrs. Pfleger!
For fun, we are both pretty active so we love anything outdoors, especially hiking. We also love movies and books!
