Sunday Micro Wedding – Amanda and Daniel

Sunday Micro Wedding at Chapel in the Hollow

Amanda and Daniel – October 12, 2025

A Romantic Blush + Black Celebration in the Smoky Mountains
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s intimate, emotional, and family-centered — but still dripping in elegant style — Amanda and Daniel’s Sunday micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow will give you all the inspiration you need.
Held on a crisp midday October Sunday in East Tennessee, this sweet couple leaned into cozy fall vibes, intentional moments with loved ones, and a design aesthetic that beautifully blended romance with moody drama. Their story is proof that you can have both — and that micro weddings can be filled with just as much joy and meaning as grand affairs.

Why They Chose a Sunday Micro Wedding

For couples planning a micro wedding in the Smoky Mountains, Sundays offer a relaxed, slower-paced option — especially during peak fall season. You’ll find:
  • Better availability at venues like Chapel in the Hollow
  • Reduced travel crowds and traffic
  • Quieter moments for your photos and ceremony
  • A more affordable way to stretch your wedding budget
Amanda and Daniel took full advantage of the peaceful setting with a Sunday afternoon ceremony surrounded by those they love most. From the first moment to the final kiss, the day felt cozy, calm, and completely theirs.

Styling the Chapel: Blush, Black, and Moody Florals

They transformed the chapel with a timeless blush and black fabric combo, topped off with our moody florals package — a favorite for fall weddings. This created a striking contrast against the natural wood of the chapel and the golden October leaves fluttering in the background.
The black fabric brought drama and depth, while the blush softened everything with a touch of romantic charm. Combined with flickering candles and a soft breeze, it was the ultimate backdrop for their vows.

The Bride: Elegant & Ethereal

Amanda absolutely stunned in her sleeveless bridal gown from Purple Door Boutique, featuring a beaded bodice, satin skirt, and a long, flowing train that swept over the wooden steps of the chapel. Her hair was styled in a soft updo by Deidra O’Rourke, and her makeup by Kristina was a masterclass in glowing, natural glam.
She completed her look with a handcrafted bouquet from Etsy, which tied in beautifully with the overall color palette and aesthetic.

The Groom + Crew: Sharp + Sentimental

Daniel looked dapper in a gray suit with a navy blue vest from Louis’s Tux Shop — and their two sons, dressed to match, totally stole the show! The mini groomsmen were all smiles and style, making for some of the sweetest moments of the day.
Their wedding party was made up of the people closest to their hearts: a bridesmaid, a groomsman, two junior groomsmen, two flower girls, and a ring bearer — a perfect blend of family and fun.

A Ceremony Full of Heart

With Ian Parrott officiating under the dappled forest light, Amanda and Daniel exchanged heartfelt vows that brought tears to more than a few eyes. They celebrated not just their love, but their deep connection to family, and it radiated through every moment of their ceremony.
Afterwards, guests cheered them on as they made their joyful exit — one of those moments that feels like it stretches in slow motion when you’re living it. And now, thanks to the lens of Star Noir Studio, those memories are captured forever in stunning photographs.

Family First: Photos + Portraits

After their ceremony, the couple prioritized family photos at the chapel, making sure every group, hug, and smile was captured. The surrounding forest gave us that perfect late-October color palette — muted greens, amber leaves, and soft light filtering through the trees.
Once the group portraits were complete, we snuck Amanda and Daniel off behind the chapel for some romantic, private moments. The golden light, their natural chemistry, and that dramatic blush-and-black styling made for photos that felt straight out of a fairytale.
From the Bride
We first met in 2013. He wanted to take me for a ride on the back of his motorcycle and after that we were inseparable. The first date that we went on was to a restaurant. He asked me to dinner and we went to an all you can eat steak and seafood place.
He proposed on Christmas day. He asked both of the children to come down stairs and he gave them a gift to hand to me. He then bend down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so shocked and surprised I started crying and saying Yes! Yes! The boys were over the moon.
We chose Tennessee for our wedding because Daniel has always loved being in the mountains and we compensated on in the woods as well. Nashville was one of our favorite places to visit.  We are looking forward to finally get married to each other after 12 years. We can’t wait to get all dressed up and have fun.
We usually just do a lot of things with our children. Date nights sitting by the bonfire and watching some great tv series.
