Emotional Smoky Mountain Micro Wedding – Hannah and Romeo

Emotional Smoky Mountain Micro Wedding

Hannah and Romeo – October 12, 2025

A Soft + Sentimental October Celebration at Chapel in the Hollow
Some weddings hit you with all the feels — the kind where every glance, every tear, and every whispered vow radiates real, heart-deep love. Hannah and Romeo’s micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was exactly that.
Held on a golden October evening in the Smoky Mountains, their ceremony was intimate, emotional, and beautifully crafted with love — not just from the couple but from their entire family.

Romantic Forest Vibes for Fall

The couple chose sand and blush fabric to dress the chapel, paired with our blush and bashful floral package and flickering candlelight to set the mood.
The soft neutral tones of the decor created a cozy, romantic glow that played beautifully against the backdrop of the autumn woods. With the sun beginning to dip behind the Smoky Mountains and the gentle rustle of leaves overhead, their ceremony space felt like a secret woodland sanctuary just for them.

A Mother’s Love Makes Magic

Behind the scenes, Hannah’s mom and aunt were the ultimate dream team. Arriving early, they worked together to transform the space with thoughtful details that made the day deeply personal:
  • A memory table to honor loved ones
  • A cake table and refreshment area for guests
  • Magnet wedding favors made from plantable seed paper
  • A “date night idea jar” for the couple to build future memories
It wasn’t just a wedding — it was a labor of love from start to finish.

The Bride: Timeless Beauty on a Budget

Hannah arrived looking radiant in a lace gown from Candler Budget Bridal, already dressed but needing a few last touches. Her mom, sister, and bridesmaids helped her prepare, sharing laughs and soaking in the joyful anticipation.
Her look proved you don’t have to spend a fortune to shine like a queen — something our couples often discover when planning their budget-friendly elopements and micro weddings in East Tennessee.

The Groom: Dapper & Devoted

Romeo’s style was effortlessly cool — a patterned shirt paired with navy pants, suspenders, and a pink bowtie that perfectly echoed the wedding’s blush tones. He was escorted in by his proud parents, and the emotion on his face said it all the moment he caught sight of his bride walking down the aisle.
There was a collective gasp — followed by more than a few tears — as Romeo visibly melted at the sight of Hannah.

Handwritten Vows + Overflowing Emotions

During the ceremony, they read handwritten vows, both trembling with emotion. In a sweet twist of fate, they unknowingly used some of the same phrases, showing just how connected their hearts truly are.
When the officiant (our own Ian Parrott) pronounced them husband and wife, the couple walked out into a bubble-filled exit — radiant, joyful, and full of happy tears
It was the kind of moment that doesn’t need choreography — just love.

Golden Hour Photos in the Forest

After the ceremony and family photos at the chapel, our team at Star Noir Studio whisked them away for portraits. The settings?
  • Among the trees, hand in hand
  • Dancing in the road under beams of golden Tennessee light
  • In the open field, mountains glowing in the background
It was storybook perfection, and every image captured the joy and authenticity of their love story.

From the Bride
We have always enjoyed rural TN especially near the Great Smoky Mountains and thought it would be the perfect place for us to get married. On our wedding day we look forward to promising our love to each other and finally making it happen! We chose this date because we love autumn and one of my favorite months is October.
Our date nights are more like date mornings we wake up early on Sunday and share coffee and breakfast. We like to get together with friends  and enjoy taking walks with our dog Milo. We like too travel especially to Gatlinburg and Wilmington.
