Shannon and Wesley celebrated their love with a beautifully serene and stress-free wedding day at Chapel in the Hollow. They created a romantic atmosphere by dressing the chapel in soft blush and white fabric, beautifully complemented by our blush and bashful florals and the warm glow of our candle and lantern package.
Both were overjoyed as they stepped into their new life together. Shannon looked stunning in a unique corset top dress that was a lavender/blush/grey color, featuring a chic short train. Wesley kept it casual and stylish in jeans and a green shirt, reflecting the relaxed and joyful spirit of the day.
A very special moment was when Shannon’s daughter walked her down the aisle, adding a deeply personal touch to their ceremony. The emotional weight of the day was felt deeply as both Shannon and Wesley shed tears during their vows, moved by the love and significance of their commitment.
Surrounded by their friends, their wedding was not just a formal union but a genuine celebration of their journey and happiness together.
Adding to the charm of their day, they enjoyed specialty cookies and a cute cake, perfect treats that added sweetness to their celebration.
They also brought a“We Eloped” sign, a fun and fitting detail for their intimate and laid-back ceremony.

We had both come out of long term marriages, from different counties, each had one child, given up on love. We had mutual friends , met through a dating app, and only lived 15 minutes apart. We hit it off and have been inseparable ever since. For the first date, we went to Texas Roadhouse and to Bass Pro shop. Had the best time. We are very simple people.
For the proposal, Wesley along with my daughter and her boyfriend and myself, went to Iron Mountain off road park on New Years Eve Eve, and was riding UTVs. He drove us to the overlook in the north GA mountains and dropped to one knee. It was amazing. We chose East Tennessee for our stress free wedding day because it’s one of our favorite places. I’ve been coming since I was a child! I’m most excited for just seeing his face and committing our lives with our kids and friends. We love Halloween but did not want to wait til October so we chose lucky number 13 with hopes of a Friday the 13th anniversary.
We love animals, we have a small farm. We love spending time with our kids. We go ride side by sides. Drag racing and UGA Football and Atlanta Braves baseball!
