Spring Weddings in Tennessee – Jennifer and Wesley

Spring Weddings in Tennessee

Spring weddings in Tennessee look so lovely with the greens just beginning to show. Jennifer and Wesley brought their children with them to celebrate the merging of their families on this gorgeous day! They chose navy fabric and the blush and marsala florals to complement their colors. Her dress was a lush blend of laciness that photographed soooo beautifully. They had great lighting for their mid-day wedding, and nature provided us with an amazing backdrop. Congratulations, Jennifer and Wesley!!

From the Bride:

We met online almost 7 years ago (7/7/14) . He was in my hometown working. From our first date, we have been together. It just worked. Like pieces of a puzzle, we fit perfectly together. We enjoy the same activities – being outdoors, hunting, fishing, sports with our kids, and traveling the world. We can go out with friends and wind up spending hours just talking to each other. This is a second marriage for both of us. Neither of us initially wanted to get remarried but over time, it became apparent we would get married and spend the rest of our lives together. After We did everything backwards – moved in together after 9 months, blended 6 children together, bought a house, started a business, and now we are getting married.

We met at a restaraunt and immediately connected. We spent 5 hours talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. We were there so long the waitress actually asked us to leave because they were closed. To this day, when we have date night, we go to that same restaraunt and spend hours talking to each other.

He proposed on October 22nd of 2019. We were in the kitchen, just the two of us. We have quite a few children and it was just one of those days where it was just us. It was very Wes like. He is private and shows his love that way. We chose East Tennessee for our wedding because the Smoky Mountains are one of our bucket list locations to visit. What better way to remember it than by getting married.

For date night, we usually go to a restaurant and people watch, make up stories and dream about the future. We both enjoy hunting, fishing, watching our kids play sports. We really enjoy traveling and travel as much as possible.
