Spring Mountain Wedding – Halee and Brad

Halee and Brad – April 3, 2021

Spring Mountain Wedding

Halee and Brad were our second spring mountain wedding of the day. Her dress was lovely in its simplicity and hugged her curves beautifully. Their bridal party was a hoot and as sweet as their Georgia accents. These two just ooze chemistry, and I think you’re going to love these pictures as much as I do!! Congratulations, Halee and Brad!

From the Bride:

I started a new job as a medical receptionist at a local urgent care and Brad was the x-ray tech at this clinic. We both happened to be going through similar hardships, a divorce from our first marriages. All and all things seemed meant to be, we ended up crossing paths at a difficult time in our lives but ended up falling head over heels for one another. I also had a son from my first marriage, Waylon. Brad was introduced to him right before is first birthday and Brad has been “daddy” ever since. I am so blessed to have both of them in my life and could not picture it any other way. Our paths were meant to cross, and I am so glad they did.

Our first date and the majority of the dates after were usually spent going to the movies. I can recall was being so nervous but so comfortable. We didn’t really care what we were doing as long as we were together. We walked around downtown Macon, saw a movie together, had dinner and the rest of the night we just drove around listening to music just getting to know each other. And we always dreaded leaving each other at the end of the night.

Brad and I took our first trip to Universal Studios in FL, but that’s not where he did it. He actually took me out to eat to a fancy restaurant one night, made special reservations so we could have the space all to ourselves, and when the waiter was bringing us a desert plate, there was a homemade wooden box (made by brad) with a note inside that said “I love you to the stars and back. Will you marry me?” with the most perfect ring.

We have both had weddings before from our previous marriages and did not want to pour a whole lot of time and money into an extravagant wedding. We wanting something intimate and simple that we could share with our closest friends and family. But, where we live we don’t many options for venues so after I did some research I found this chapel. We have travelled to TN every year since we started dating so it just seemed right.

My son walking down the aisle with me is going to be very special. Because I feel like me and Waylon could have had such a different life if I would not have made the decisions I did and moved on from my first marriage which was not so happy or healthy. We found Brad. And when we walk to him together, I feel like in that moment I will be reminded I made the best decision for myself but especially for my little boy. Our family will officially come together as one.

We chose the date because we thought it sounds cute like a count down LOL (4, 3, 2, 1 – 04/03/21).

We both love movies. All kinds, but especially Marvel movies. We love to go new places and do new things and want to travel all over the world in the future together.
