Spring Tennessee Elopement – Laci and Matt

Laci and Matt brought their families to us today to witness the joining of their lives in a spring Tennessee elopement. They chose the white fabric with white and cream florals which offset her dark green dress beautifully. One of his friends officiated the ceremony and shared some of their backstory. Her hair and makeup by Bangs and Blush was the icing on the cake and pop wonderfully for the camera. Congratulations, Laci and Matt!!

From the Bride:

We met on a dating website, Bumble. We began talking a bit before the pandemic started and that delayed us actually meeting for a couple of months. We have talked every day since that time, and here we are.

Our first date was pretty casual. We had already gotten to know each other well through talking every day. Our first date consisted of tacos and getting to know one another.

He proposed. We had actually taken a trip after Christmas to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, and had stopped at his parents home in Columbia before coming all the way back home. We went for a long walk to stretch our legs and just talked about everything, little did I know that he had the ring in his pocket and at some points would be holding it as he pointed to homes or buildings in the area. We were making our way back to his parents home and I jokingly said “okay okay, where’s the ring,” and the look on his face was priceless when he responded, “how did you know?” I assumed he was just joking so I brushed it off and walked ahead of him to go inside. As I am walking inside, I hear “Laci” so I turn around and Matt nervously asks “will you marry me?” I said yes so here we are!

We love TN as a whole but East Tennessee is so beautiful so it was a perfect fit for our big day.

We love to travel, and try to visit new places as often as we can. Our date nights consist of take out and binge watching a series haha.
