Spring Tennessee Vow Renewal

You may remember Brooklyn and Bailey’s elopement from 2019 — she is the cover girl for our wedding e-magazine. She told her mother about our little place which led to Penny and Billy choosing Chapel in the Hollow for their 10 year spring Tennessee vow renewal! We are so excited to be part of such a big day! Penny’s sweet, southern style looked amazing against the spring forest backdrop. Congratulations, Penny and Billy!

From the Bride:

I was working at a local barber shop in our home town of Hamilton, AL cutting hair, and he came in for a hair cut. It was pretty much love at first sight. He came in each week for a cut or shampoo or something just to have a reason to talk to me. We hit it off and started hanging out and dating. Billy had two boys, Camron and Clay. I had two children as well, Brooklyn and Austin. We have been in love ever since. We later had a daughter together, Chloe Zaine. We have been through so much in the past 10 years. We almost divorced 2 times, but God saw fit to bring us back together. Through it all, our love has only gotten stronger. We have endured beautiful happy moments like the birth of Chloe and our three grand children. But, we have also endured lots of heartache with the lost of Clay, my father, and my step father. Through all of the heartache, tears, and laughter, we have found a way to remain strong, and we are stronger today than we have ever been. Our love has grown for that reason.

For the proposal, I was working. He and Clay picked me up from work, and Clay said, “Pen Pen” (what he called me ) “Daddy didn’t buy you a ring today.” As soon as he said it, Billy looked at me and said, “Well, will you marry me?” It was the sweetest ever not what he had in mind but ended up being the best proposal I could of ever asked for.
