Isabella and Michael’s spiritual woodsy wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a beautiful celebration of love and nature, perfectly tailored to their unique spirits. They set the scene with peach and dusty sage fabrics, complemented by our wildflower florals and the warm glow of our lantern package, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere.
The ceremony began with a heartfelt moment as Isabella’s dad walked her partway down the aisle before trading off with her mom, who proudly walked her the rest of the way to Michael. Isabella looked stunning in a white dress with flutter sleeves and a long train, her hair beautifully curled, radiating joy and elegance.
Michael was dapper in a black suit, topped with a cowboy hat that had been exquisitely customized with mountain and Celtic details, adding a personal touch that spoke to their love for the outdoors. As part of their ceremony, they included a traditional handfasting, symbolizing the binding of their lives and hearts in a time-honored ritual.
Isabella’s mother crafted the gorgeous bouquet and boutonniere, infusing the day with the beauty of handmade details. They also set up a memory table, honoring loved ones and ensuring that their spirits were felt throughout the joyous occasion.
Congratulations, Isabella and Michael! Your wedding was a wonderful fusion of tradition, nature, and the deep bond you share. May your journey together be as beautiful and enriched with love as your wedding day.
From the Bride
We went to high school together but rarely interacted. We reconnected when he come through the drive up at the bank I was working at. Something about the way his eye lit up and his contiguous smile, I looked him up on Facebook. After months of him asking me to his house so we could go horseback riding (I’ve watched way too much true crime for that) I finally agreed to meet him at the local waffle house for a late dinner. It was so cold I agreed to sit in the truck with him to get warm, and we talked for hours. He proposed at a local Mexican place at dinner. We decided on getting married in East Tennessee because we both love the outdoors and the gorgeous views the mountains offer. We look forward to sharing our love with family and friends on our wedding day. We enjoy late night conversations, making dinners together and basically just enjoying each other’s company.
