Sophisticated Smoky Mountain Wedding – Leah and Will

Sophisticated Smoky Mountain Wedding

A Fall Love Story with Rustic Elegance and Personal Charm
When elegance meets laid-back mountain charm, you get something truly special — and Leah + Will’s sophisticated Smoky Mountain wedding was exactly that.
We first met these two during their adventure engagement session on the breathtaking Foothills Parkway back in April. With panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains and a love that radiates warmth, it was easy to see their wedding day would be one to remember.
Fast forward to October, and they returned to Chapel in the Hollow for a celebration filled with heartfelt moments, cozy fall colors, and sophisticated rustic style — the perfect combination for a micro wedding in the Smokies.

An Autumn Ceremony in the Forest

Leah and Will chose to dress the chapel in sand and textured rust fabric, accented by our signature bohemian florals and the candle and lantern package — creating a soft, golden glow that felt both refined and warm. The result was an ethereal ambiance that matched the surrounding Smoky Mountain woods and the romance of late October.
You can browse our fabric and floral options to get a closer look at this beautiful fall setup.

A Bride in Boots and a Glow

Leah looked absolutely radiant in her white cap-sleeved gown with a soft train and matching veil — classic and timeless with a touch of country charm. Her finishing touches? Cream cowboy boots (hello, style!) and blue “wifey” socks, blending playful personality with bridal elegance.
Her hair was styled in loose curls, and her mom helped her get ready, adding another emotional layer to an already magical day. From the moment Leah stepped out of the bridal suite, it was clear this bride was glowing with joy.

A Groom in Laid-Back Sophistication

Will brought a relaxed-yet-polished vibe to the day, pairing jeans with a light gray vest and brown cowboy boots — the kind of outfit that speaks to Smoky Mountain charm while still feeling special. His look, sourced from Men’s Wearhouse, fit perfectly with the laid-back elegance that defined the entire day.
Together, Leah and Will embodied a rustic love story with a refined edge — effortless, stylish, and completely true to who they are.

A Ceremony Full of Meaning

Leah’s mom and bonus dad walked her down the aisle, and as she and Will exchanged vows beneath the rust-colored archway, they included a handfasting ceremony — an ancient tradition symbolizing the binding of two lives. This meaningful touch added a spiritual, timeless element to their vows that felt beautifully in tune with the forest around them.
They also brought a custom wooden guest book sign, giving loved ones a unique way to leave their mark on the day. Personal touches like these are what make micro weddings so intimate and memorable.
And of course, the entire ceremony was surrounded by the soft flicker of lanterns and the glow of candles — a beautiful way to embrace the magic of a candlelight wedding in the woods.

Portraits in the Perfect October Light

After the ceremony, we captured family photos in front of the bridal suite, where the afternoon light poured in just right. It was so pretty we couldn’t resist starting couple portraits there!
From there, we moved around the property:
  • The rustic archway framed them beautifully
  • Our charming Chapel in the Hollow sign made for fun keepsake shots
  • The winding forest road added depth and texture
  • And the final golden hour moments in the open field with the Smoky Mountains glowing in the background? Pure magic.
Photographed by the talented Star Noir Studio, every frame tells a story of joy, connection, and love in its most authentic form.
From the Bride:
We met at work but we had worked together for 2 years before we got together. One of his friends at work invited me to go out and ride. We all took a group photo on Wills phone. After a few days at work I asked Will to send me the photos and gave him my number. After a little talking he asked me out one night.
We were both nervous on the first date. We ended up hanging out at a place called the shrine. It’s an old church grounds. There’s not an actual building there but there’s a parking lot surrounded by woods. There’s also a trail with 6 ft crosses along it. We walked around a little but eventually wanted to watch the stars. We got in the bed of his truck and laid on a tv box, we talked until 2-3 in the morning watching some shooting stars.
Will proposed while we were on a cruise to the Bahamas. It was Halloween day when he proposed while on the beach in Freeport. He was super nervous, he had the ring in his pocket for days before he proposed.
We live a couple of hours outside of pigeon forge/ Gatlinburg. We visit quite often to get away for a few days. We took our first vacation together in Gatlinburg. We both have a love for mountains and wanted a way to incorporate that on our wedding day.
I’m most looking forward to marrying my best friend.
The specific date isn’t available, but we started dating in the fall, got engaged in the fall, and both have a love for the fall season. It only made sense to “fall” into marriage in the fall season.
We love to go explore places and travel. Typically a date night for us is Texas Roadhouse and of course a sweet treat after.
