Smoky Mountain Wedding Chapel
Alexis and Brice chose to have their wedding at a tiny Smoky Mountain wedding chapel off the beaten path in Seymour, Tennessee near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Their wedding day was rainy and thundery, but it left the landscape lush and gorgeous–and always with the beautiful rainy day light!! Alexis’s grandfather used his super smooth voice to officiate the ceremony, and he was a joy to hear. These two were super cute together, and that dress… ooooooooh. They had to postpone their April wedding, but nature brought all the blessings for them on June 21st. Congratulations Alexis and Brice!!
From the Bride:
We met at a party through a mutual friend then later Brice perused me and asked me on a date! The first date was great, we had plenty to talk about and great conversation/food. Little did we know it would be the first of MANY dinner dates. Brice proposed while we were on a vacation in Jamaica. after he proposed he had a photoshoot planned prior so we had amazing engagement pictures to say the least!!!
We decided on East Tennessee because we love the mountains and also wanted something small, and intimate with family only. What am I most looking forward to? Well getting to marry the man of my dreams! But I am Super excited for the location/setting. Also extremely excited about the amazing pictures outdoors. Unfortunately there is no significance to the date we chose, because… corona. We are excited it will make Father’s Day a little extra special this year though!
For fun, we love traveling to new places, spending time outdoors, golfing, fishing and hanging out with our pups. Also love a good chill day.
