Smoky Mountain Tiny Wedding

Katie and Daryl joined us on a gorgeous spring morning for a Smoky Mountain tiny wedding. They dressed the chapel in blush with our blush and bashful florals. She looked radiant in her dress, and he was extra dapper in his grey suit. Her dad walked her down the aisle, and their sons stood up as his groomsmen. Congratulations, Katie and Daryl!

From the Bride:

We met on Match! I guess you could say it was love at first click. We spent at least the next month getting to know each other over the phone before I agreed to meet.

For our first date, we went to Longhorn after I messed up the meeting spot. I talked way too nervously while Jackson, Daryl’s son, smiled a lot! Daryl was very quiet. Our next date was New Years Eve and at midnight we were dancing in the rain and laughing and having the best time. It was truly so easy. I had gotten very ill in 2021, almost to the point of death. Daryl had walked in after they had sat me up in the hospital chair for the first time and said we are getting married this year. It was so heartfelt and emotional for me. I needed nothing in that moment . I knew he was my person long before then. This just solidified it. We made it official New Years Eve of 2021. We decided to get married in East Tennessee because it was the first place we took a vacation as a family!
