Stress Free Elopement

Ron and Tina joined us all the way from North Dakota for a simple, stress free elopement. They dressed the chapel in blush with our moody florals. She had on a flowy white dress while he wore a snazzy black suit, and they were just the sweetest!! Congratulations, Tina and Ron!!

From the Bride:

We met years ago at the YMCA where we both have been working out for years. We would chat briefly from time to time. We never thought about dating because when one of us was single the other one was not. Well…we were finally both single! On September 30th our “got to know you date” in 2020 our lives were forever changed, we visited for hours (not at the gym). We became close friends almost instantly and our friendship evolved into a beautiful intimate relationship.

Our first date… our relationship started out very private and we had a lot of “home dates” as we got to know one another. Gluten free pizza and movies! The best dates ever!

Ron proposed to me on September 30th, 2021 (our “got to know you date”). He knows I don’t like big crowds or a lot of attention so he proposed privately at his home. He had an amazing candle light dinner, colorful flowers and my favorite wine. He got down on one knee and said the most beautiful words to me…that made me cry. It was perfect! 🙂

I (Tina) have always wanted to go to the Smokey Mountains, I love the outdoors and I am an avid hiker (Ron is too now)…so we started searching for places that would be unique, private and fitting for “us.” We are looking forward to marrying “our person” and best friend!

We picked the date because May was a month that worked for our busy lives, but the 12th of the month was chosen. Because Ron’s birthday is on the 5th of Sept and mine is the 7th of March. 5 + 7 = 12! 🙂

What we do for fun is run (mainly Tina… Ron makes himself), lift weights, hike, travel, watch movies, do nothing (our favorite time), etc..
