Smoky Mountain Fall Wedding – Kim and Matt

Kim and Matt – November 5, 2021

Smoky Mountain Fall Wedding

Kim and Matt joined us with their families to celebrate a Smoky Mountain fall wedding. They dressed the chapel in champagne and navy with our bohemian fall florals. Her dress was a gorgeous soft champagne, and it looked great with his casual chic jeans and vest. These two were super sweet!! The were both so excited to see each other that it looked like they both cried a bit before they even got turned around. Congratulations, Kim and Matt!!
From the Bride:
We met through mutual friends in 2000 just after I turned 21. We hung out for years on and off again. I think our friends knew before we did that we were meant to be together. We really never had a first date.
Many might not know that Matt actually asked me to marry him mid August of 2020. We were just hanging out on our porch. I asked him what he was doing, and he said he was just think about things. I said really, I think we should get married. He looked at me and said, “Would you really marry me?” I said sure why not. He turned around and then got down on one knee and asked me with tears in his eyes. It was perfect even if he did not have the ring. (I loved the opportunity to pick out my ring.) A couple weeks on later Labor Day weekend, he asked me again on our porch as we hung out with friends. Their response and everyone else has been “finally, it’s about time”
We absolutely love the fall weather and the leaves changing colors. Our engagement pictures where taking in the fall 2020 and we wanted the same amazing backdrop of the leaves.
I am looking forward to a day all about me and Matt. I have waited too long for this moment. Our wedding date is Matt’s grandmother’s 95th birthday. November is my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We love the outdoors. Hanging out with friends. Nothing special just time together.
