Mountain Wedding in November – Chelsey and Chuck

Chelsey and Chuck – November 4, 2021

Mountain Wedding in November

Chelsey and Chuck joined us today with their families for a mountain wedding in November. They dressed the chapel in white with our white florals. She brought a gorgeous bouquet and boutonniere that coordinated beautifully. Her lacy gown was so lovely, and he looked extra handsome in his suit jacket. Her friend, Ashley helped with the decor, and everything looked super cute! Congratulations, Chelsey and Chuck!!
From the Bride:
We met online. We have both had a rough go of it for the last few years and we knew once we found each other we were meant to be. It’s amazing how everything falls into place when it’s time. God definitely knew we needed each other. I would not have changed the road that I was on because it lead me to you. For the first date, we met at the mall and sat and talked for hours, drove around downtown Knoxville, then went to a late dinner. The first date went so well we were seeing each other every day almost immediately.
He proposed. He was so nervous! It was my birthday and my parents were in town (they were in on the set up). We went to dinner and as we were finishing my dad had the “idea” to go for a walk downtown to “walk off dinner”. Chuck was so nervous trying to find the perfect place to ask me. We were in front of the waterfall area in the garden at Market Square and that’s when he got down on his knee.
We live here and LOVE East Tennessee. We live in the most beautiful place. But, we are biased. I’m actually originally from Alabama, myself. I moved to East TN about 7 years ago and I’ll never leave. I always said if I moved somewhere it would be the mountains or the beach. So, here I am (to stay)!
We wanted a fall wedding during the leaves changing! Also, what better month to get married and be thankful than the month of Thanksgiving?
We love going for drives in the country or just wherever our car takes us. We love going on adventures and finding anywhere with history. We also love going to the mountains and spending time in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Even though I’ve lived here 7 years now I am still very much a tourist and haven’t marked everything I want to do in the area off my list!
