Stephanie and John – June 15, 2021
Simple Forest Elopement
Stephanie and John joined us today for a simple forest elopement. They dressed the chapel in blush and white with our blush and marsala florals, and she used the matching bouquet. Her dress had a gorgeous classic look, and we love a short dress!! He was rocking some John Travolta vibes giving them almost a rockabilly feel. They had such great chemistry together, and Stephanie had the most beautiful smile!! Congratulations, John and Stephanie!
From the Bride:
We saw each other’s pictures first and John said he thought I looked like an angel. We started speaking on the phone and enjoyed talking so much that we spoke every day for about two weeks before we met face to face.
When we finally met in person it felt like our souls had known each other forever and this meeting was only me finding him again. I’d never felt anything like it before. I was so comfortable and happy. And we’ve been inseparable ever since.
We were cuddled up for a Sunday afternoon nap when he softly asked me to marry him. I opened my eyes to a small black box.
We wanted to pick a beautiful place to “run away” to, just the two of us and John has always loved and felt at home in the Mountains.
We are most looking forward to… John: The moment she becomes forever mine in God’s eyes.
Stephanie: It’s hard to choose. Our first kiss is such a special and vivid memory of mine so maybe our first kiss as husband and wife.

Meeting John was a blessing I will spend the rest of my life trying to be worthy of. I was a single mother of two amazing boys Liam who was 9 at the time and Emmitt 7. John easily and quickly became a part of our family. A perfect fit. He is everything I ever dreamed of and more as a partner and as a father figure for Liam and Emmitt. He gives so much love so completely. He’s kind and gentle. Always taking care of us. He can make me laugh until I cry and my cheeks hurt. Just being near him inspires me to be the best version of myself and comforts me on the days that I fall short. I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life anywhere but in his arms.
