Simple Country Wedding
at Chapel in the Hollow
A Rust + Teal Romance in the Smoky Mountains
Sheyanne and Robert – August 30, 2025
If you’re dreaming of a laid-back, nature-kissed country wedding with rustic elegance and heartfelt charm, Sheyanne and Robert’s wedding at Chapel in the Hollow is the perfect inspiration. These two brought their own unique style to the forest, proving that simple can still be spectacular—especially when love is the star of the show. 💍🌲
A Forest Chapel Dressed in Warm, Earthy Tones
The couple chose to dress the chapel in cream and textured rust fabric, adding their own stunning rust and teal floral arrangements to bring their vision to life. These warm, earthy tones paired beautifully with the late summer greenery of the Smoky Mountain forest, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for their ceremony. 🌿🍂
To elevate the ambiance even more, fairy lights twinkled in hanging jars along the chapel pews, casting a soft romantic glow across the wooden benches and surrounding forest floor. The entire setting felt like a cozy hug from nature—just the right blend of rustic and romantic.

Country Bride with a Touch of Glam
Sheyanne looked every bit the country princess in a sleeveless wedding gown that floated gently as she walked, paired with classic cowboy boots and a long lace-edged veil that caught the breeze in the most magical way. 🤠✨
Her bridesmaids wore rust-toned dresses, complementing the floral decor perfectly. As her mom and best girls helped her get ready, the excitement and emotion filled the bridal suite. And just when hearts couldn’t get any fuller, Sheyanne shared a tear-jerking first look with her dad—a moment full of tenderness and love. 🥹

A Groom’s Southern Style & the Sweetest Smile
Robert and his groomsmen went for laid-back country charm, sporting jeans, white shirts, blue ties, and gray vests, each topped off with a matching hat. 👖👔🎩 It was the perfect look for a relaxed Tennessee celebration—and when Robert saw Sheyanne for the first time walking down the aisle? His face absolutely lit up.
Their connection was undeniable from the very first glance—something you can see in every photo captured by Star Noir Studio, our in-house photography team known for fast turnarounds and dreamy woodland edits.
A Ceremony Centered in Faith and Family
The couple’s ceremony was simple, sweet, and filled with meaning. They included a cord of three strands braid ceremony—a Christian tradition symbolizing the strength of a marriage bound by faith. ✝️💫
Their officiant, Ian Parrott, led them through heartfelt vows as the forest surrounded them with quiet beauty. With their friends and family watching from the pews, it was a moment where time stood still—just Sheyanne, Robert, and the promise of forever.
Portraits with Personality: Tractor, Mountains, and a Whole Lot of Love
After the ceremony, we gathered everyone for family portraits at the chapel before taking the couple on a mini adventure to some of our favorite photo spots around the property.
They posed by our signature rustic tractor, wandered through the highland-inspired area, and finished with gorgeous couple portraits at our dual mountain overlooks—each one kissed by golden light and summer haze. 🌄📸

From the Bride:
We met at church. We had been going to the same church since a young age, but we never really crossed paths until a few years ago. We started going to the same church group, hung out in the same group of people, and then we started talking one one-on-one and getting to know each other. Then we fell in love and have been best friends ever since then.
Our first date was on the boat we went fishing together and just talked for hours it was so much fun. Robert proposed while we were sitting around a fire with our friends and family. It was perfect. When we first started hanging out, we were always at fires together so it was special.
We chose East Tennessee for our simple country wedding because we wanted to do something different that nobody else had done. We already planned to have our honeymoon in Tennessee so we thought let’s just get married there. We’re both so excited to marry our best friends and get to start our lives together!
We like to go fishing or out on the boat. We also like to be at home watching movies. We love going out to dinner and ice cream dates.

Boots, Blue Skies, and Forever Love
Young, vibrant, and completely in love, Sheyanne and Robert’s wedding was the kind that makes you believe in happily ever after—with cowboy boots on the dance floor and blue skies overhead. They proved that you don’t need a huge crowd or a big budget to create an unforgettable day—just love, laughter, and a little help from the forest.
