Rina and Chris’s Second Chance Elopement at Chapel in the Hollow is a beautiful tale of rekindled love. They transformed the chapel into a romantic setting, adorned with white and black fabric, our striking red rose florals, and the enchanting winter tree package, creating an atmosphere of love and elegance.

Rina was breathtaking in her burgundy dress, a bold and beautiful choice that complemented the day’s theme perfectly. She carried our red rose bouquet, adding a classic touch to her stunning look. Chris matched the mood in his sharp all-black suit, embodying sophistication and style.

Their love story is one of enduring connection and friendship. Together in their youth, separated for 27 years, yet always remaining friends, they found their way back to each other, ready to say “I do” once again. Their journey is a heartwarming reminder that true love can withstand the test of time.

Both Rina and Chris were incredibly sweet and natural in front of the camera, unafraid to have fun and show their playful sides, which made capturing their moments all the more special.

We utilized the beauty of the chapel, the archway, the scenic road, and the field with the breathtaking mountain view for their photo spots, each location adding its unique charm to their photographs.

Their elopement was not just a celebration of their union but a testament to their enduring love and friendship. We are overjoyed to have been a part of their special day and wish them a lifetime of happiness, love, and continued friendship.

From the Bride:

Chris and I were high school friends. We dated after school and married not long after I graduated high school. We had a little girl and were young ourselves. The relationship only lasted a few years. For our daughter, we remained close even though we both remarried for several years during her childhood. In 2017, we got back together and on January 6, 2024 the day we are getting married we will be together 7 years. We have never been happier. It took both of us going separate ways, growing up, and finding ourselves to find each other again. Thank you all for being a special part of this journey.

The second time around, we picked up where we left off. We were nervous but it felt so right. We never skipped a beat. Chris proposed. We went to Jared’s looking at rings one Saturday and I picked out a few I liked. He never said anything else about it then a few weeks later he was outside and called me out to where he was. It was just he and I. He had me sit beside him and said “let’s do it for forever this time.” I said absolutely 😊!

I have lived in East Tennessee my whole life and he has the majority of his. We wanted somewhere very quiet and special, and discovered Chapel in the Hollow. I am looking forward to saying “I Do” to my best friend. The significance of the date (1/6) is our 7 year anniversary of being back together again. We didn’t want to have to remember another separate date so we chose this one.

For fun, we enjoy hanging out with our kids, spending time with family, friends, and riding our Harley when the weather is appropriate.
