Romantic Spring Micro Wedding – Serenity and Zane

Romantic Spring Micro Wedding

May 17, 2025 – Serenity and Zane

Serenity and Zane chose Chapel in the Hollow for their romantic spring micro wedding—a sweet, sentimental celebration tucked into the heart of the Smoky Mountains.
They dressed the chapel in cream and lavender fabric with our lavender florals and matching wreaths on the pews, creating a soft, dreamy vibe perfect for a May wedding. The cicadas were singing, the forest was lush, and the love between these two was impossible to miss.
Serenity brought her vision to life with the help of her sister, mom, and a close friend. She set up an adorable sand ceremony table and a memory table that welcomed guests with beautiful intention.
She looked absolutely ethereal in a long-sleeved illusion lace dress with a crystal-edged mid-length veil. Her hair was half up in soft curls—pure bridal beauty. Zane looked sharp in a blue suit, and the two were surrounded by love with her sister and his friend standing beside them as maid of honor and best man.
Right before her walk down the aisle, Serenity played a voice message for Zane… and the tears began.  He was still misty-eyed when she appeared, walking down the aisle with her dad to the sounds of the Smokies all around them.
After a few quick family photos, we whisked them away for some romantic forest couple portraits before they headed off to celebrate with dinner at Five Oaks Farm Kitchen
Soft, sweet, and full of emotion, this day was the perfect representation of young love, family connection, and personalized charm.
Congratulations, Serenity and Zane!!
From the Bride
We met in passing at gatherings and at our local mall. On our first date we drove around until we ended up at the boat ramp. Once we parked, we sat and talked for hours, discussing truths we wanted one another to know, to get everything out in the open, to make sure our future plans aligned and to discuss pasts.
Zane proposed. We were at my mom’s house, and he purchased a portable projector screen to watch a movie and ordered pizza to the house. I went inside the house to use the bathroom, and when I came back out, I started telling him a story of what I had found in my pocket earlier that day, and then he said “well look what’s in my pocket.” He got down on one and proposed. We are originally from Morristown, so we always knew we wanted to get married near our family and where we grew up. On our romantic spring micro wedding day I am looking forward to becoming his wife:) and having all of our loved ones together, under God, celebrating our marriage.
Our anniversary date is the 27th, he proposed on the 7th, so it made since to do the 17th, as 7 is both of our favorite numbers (cheesy i know hehehe) and we always wanted a spring wedding, so we decided on May before ever getting proposed. For fun we enjoy video games and watching movies. Typical date nights include sushi or ordering food in.We love to play card and board games, as we are both competitive.
