Blush and Bashful Micro Wedding – Christy and Jerry

Blush and Bashful Micro Wedding

May 17, 2025 – Christy and Jerry

Christy and Jerry chose Chapel in the Hollow for their blush and bashful micro wedding, and it was as sweet and heartfelt as a Southern spring day.
They dressed the chapel in soft blush and white fabric, perfectly paired with our blush and bashful florals and glowing lanterns to bring just the right amount of romantic charm. Christy added her personal touch with floral wreaths for the pews, a stunning white cake adorned with blooms, and a beautiful cord of three strands plaque to symbolize their union.
Her family jumped in to help decorate and make the day extra special—because that’s what families do best. She looked radiant in a lacy dress with cap sleeves and a flowing train, her hair styled in a graceful updo topped with a mid-length veil. Jerry kept it rustic and charming in jeans, a white shirt, and a tan vest.
Christy’s son proudly walked her down the aisle, and when Jerry saw her—cue the misty eyes.  They exchanged rings and braided their cord of three strands, a meaningful moment that symbolized their bond with faith and each other.
After a few family photos at the chapel, we took them to the highland area and the field to soak in the sunshine and mountain views for some truly stunning couple photos.
A hot spring day filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories—congratulations, Christy and Jerry!
From the Bride
We met on social media. Our first date was not your typical date. We decided to meet after Jerry got off from work one evening. He was so nervous cause he was in his work clothes not showered or dressed up for the date. I assured him it was okay cause I wanted to see him on a normal day in normal clothes. Jerry drove up immediately came straight to me leaned over kissed me and i immediately melted. And the rest is history.
Jerry proposed on a romantic valentine train ride. I have vacationed in the mountains for years and years and have always seen the little chapels in Tennessee. Once engaged we both knew the mountains would be our choice. On our blush and bashful wedding day I can’t wait for the first time Jerry sees me in my wedding dress walking down the aisle. We picked this date because we did not want a long engagement. We enjoy spending time together on the weekend, doing outside projects like gardening. Jerry loves to fish. I love to plant flowers.
