Relaxed Spring Micro Wedding – Shelby and Brady

Relaxed Spring Micro Wedding

Shelby and Brady – May 15, 2025

Shelby and Brady chose Chapel in the Hollow for their sweet and relaxed spring micro wedding, and it was a picture-perfect day in the Smokies—complete with the warm buzz of cicadas and the lush greenery of East Tennessee all around.
They dressed the chapel in dreamy dusty sage and lavender fabric, accented with our succulent florals and pretty lavender wreaths for a soft, romantic vibe. Shelby looked absolutely stunning in her white dress with delicate beaded straps and a lace train that flowed beautifully behind her. Her half-up hairstyle was adorned with a jeweled hair piece that added just the right amount of sparkle.
Brady kept things cool and classic in khaki pants, a white dress shirt, and dusty sage suspenders and bowtie—laid-back and stylish, just like the day itself.
Family played a special role in every moment—her mom helped her get ready and walked her down the aisle, one sister played the music, and the other fluffed her train to perfection.
They brought along the cutest little cake to serve at their next stop and after a joyful ceremony and family photos, we explored the property with them for couple portraits at the road, the vintage truck, and the open field with those dreamy mountain views.
Then it was off to LeConte for their celebration dinner and the next chapter of their love story!
Congratulations, Shelby and Brady! Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and beautiful mountain moments.
From the Bride
We met through social media. I had known people in his family for years and never knew or met him. We were friends on Facebook and in 2020 he reached out first when I posted I needed help with my suv. After meeting we continued hanging out and 5 years later, we’re here! Our first date was in the comfort of my home, I tend to be a shy person when I first meet someone. He brought his guitar over and played for me for hours and I knew then that he was going to be my person.
He proposed. We talked about marriage a few times throwing the idea around a bit. Next thing I know he asked me to marry him, and was bound determined to prove that was what he wanted & that was all I needed! Gatlinburg is the first vacation we ever took together, and the most fun we’ve ever had on a vacation is always in Tennessee. We love the mountains. Our son’s name is Gatlin, so Tennessee is very sentimental and has a lot of meaning to us. We knew it was the perfect place to begin our married lives together with a relaxed spring micro wedding. We can’t wait to finally getting to put forever on our story. I’m looking forward to marrying my best friend and getting to celebrate with some of our family as well.
5 has always seemed to be our number, and this last year proved that to us so we decided that would be it. We have 5 kids between the both of us and 2025 is our 5 year of knowing one another and when we first started dating. We enjoy golfing together, going to concerts/events and relaxing at home together any chance we can.
