November Weddings

Continuing on with the gorgeous November weddings, we had Michelle and Brandon yesterday as our second wedding. They dressed the chapel with our champagne fabric and moody black and burgundy florals. She had a bouquet made to match and created the other florals herself. They brought lots of pumpkins and lanterns to create a fun fall look. It continued to drizzle while they were here, but that didn’t dampen their spirits or her beauty! Congratulations, Michelle and Brandon!!

From the Bride:

Brandon and I were friends for 5 years before we started dating. We met through mutual friends back in high school. Since we had been friends for so long, we didn’t have a legitimate first date. Brandon proposed during a camping trip in the Pocono Mountains. We brought our two dogs, Kylo and Kira, and rented a small cabin. We went on a hike with our dogs to see a waterfall and we pulled off to the side to take a break from walking and he popped the question. After, we went back to the cabin and Brandon made steak and potatoes over the fire. It was definitely a weekend I will never forget!

We wanted to do a small intimate wedding and wanted to find a destination with mountains, hiking, and great views. Once we found Chapel in the Hollow, we knew this was the perfect location to have our wedding and start our new adventure together. Brandon is looking forward to seeing me walk down the aisle in my dress. I’m looking forward to marrying my best friend and celebrating our wedding day in a unique way with our family. There is no major significance to the date we chose, but we knew we wanted to have a fall wedding and enjoy a long weekend in the smokies!

Brandon and I love traveling and weekend road trips…which is why we chose to do one for our wedding! When we lived in New Jersey, we always looked forward to our long road trips that we would take twice a year back to Wisconsin to see our family and friends. We also love to spend time with our two dogs, taking them on a hike or cuddling up with them on the couch watching football.
