Mountain Micro Wedding

The rains left before Shelby and Dustin arrived, but the lovely light lingered on for their mountain micro wedding. Shelby chose our white fabric with the blue and yellow florals, and her sister made her a coordinating bouquet. She was understandably in love with her Lillian West boho dress that fit so beautifully in the forest. Her hair and makeup by Southern Sirens complemented it perfectly, and she looked amazing! Their two little ones along with their nephews were part of their wedding party and looked adorable walking down the aisle. Congratulations, Dustin and Shelby!

From the Bride:

We met online. We thought we had mutual friends. He posted the song “may we all” by FGL and I liked it so he messaged me. For our first date, he took me to his hunting land and we shot guns, got rained on, and pulled over on the side of the road on the way home to watch the stars.

He proposed. I pressured him. We went out to eat on New Year’s Eve and were walking in downtown Tipp City with all the Christmas lights, and he didn’t do it. We went out to eat, and he didn’t do it. We made it home, and our little girl threw the ring at me. When I turned around, he was down on one knee.

We love Tennessee and go there numerous times a year. I’ve been in love with Chapel in the Hollow for a long time. I’m most looking forward to marrying Dustin in front of our close family and friends.

For fun, we raise two wild children, hike, anything outside. Our date nights are few and far between but it’s usually going to a brewery somewhere. This wedding is a long time coming since we bought a house, had two babies, then decided to get married (lol).
