Last Minute Micro Wedding – Caitlyn and Ty

Caitlyn and Ty – April 24, 2021

Last Minute Micro Wedding

Caitlyn and Ty joined us for a last minute micro wedding this morning. They were blessed with a little rain and some great lighting for photos!! They chose the blush fabric with our white florals, and her sister in law made the matching bouquet. Caitlyn’s lovely lace dress was perfection on her, and you could tell Ty thought she was a vision. Congratulations, Caitlyn and Ty!

From the Bride:

We met at work! I am a nurse and a single mom that had just recently ended another relationship, and was not looking or planning for another one. Ty was a single dad, with a similar situation. We shared many interests and goals. I have to admit, his love for music and singing stole my heart 😍and slowly it became us against all odds. We had dated for only a short amount of time before his proposal, but I had absolutely no doubt in my heart that he was who and what I longed for. He always says, “when you know, you know!”

The first date was unplanned and unexpected! A spur of the moment beach trip! Beaching, HOURS of endless conversations, and dinner and drinks at a nearby beach bar. ♥️

Ty proposed! And early! But when you know, you know! We had only been dating for a few months, and our relationship was moving somewhat quickly. We both felt as if we had know one another our whole lives already. We had a date night that night, and when we got back to his house, he was down on one knee and pouring his heart out. And yes! It took me by surprise at first (because he never wanted to get married) but I had already known in the back of my mind that he was who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. So naturally, I said yes!

We visited Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for my birthday in December. We both LOVED the location, the people and all of the adventures the area has to offer. But seriously, those views. We had to come back for the wedding. 😍

I am most looking forward to being able to start this journey with my best friend and soulmate and sharing this entire intimate experience with my children, family and close friends. And to just celebrate us!

There isn’t any significance to the date. Everything in our relationship seems to be quick and spur of the moment, so when we talked about wedding planning, we didn’t want anything extravagant, or anything that took TOO much time and effort. So we just picked a random date and went from there! We have only been planning for roughly 2 months!

We love our date night dinners! But we love our adventures together. We are always open to trying new things and making the most of this life together.
