Spring Micro Wedding

Melissa and Chris brought their families to us on this glorious spring day for their spring micro wedding celebration. She looked amazing with her lovely floufy dress, and we thought the colors she chose were fantastic!! He brought out a ring pop during the ceremony to give her as an inside joke. We joined them for a bit of an adventure by going to their cabin for the reception, and we took advantage of a barn on the property. Congratulations, Melissa and Chris!!

From the Bride:

We met online. For our first date, we went to a local burger place and talked for hours. I knew instantly I wanted to see him again because it felt so comfortable and the conversation just flowed with him. We’ve talked every single day since then!

Chris proposed. We were on vacation with our family in Pawley’s Island, SC. We came back to our condo after dinner one evening and went for a walk on the beach. We were looking for seashells to bring back for my niece and he placed the ring under one of them and said “what about this seashell” and dropped it in my hand. Of course I said yes!

We’ve both been to the Smoky Mountains and decided it would be the perfect place for a rustic, woodsy wedding.

We are looking forward to starting the next chapter of our lives and having our closest family and friends with us to celebrate!

April 29th was the Bride’s Grandmother’s Birthday. When we were trying to pick our date we wanted an April or May date and things just fell perfectly to be on her birthday.

Our date nights are usually out for dinner with another couple and maybe a movie (pre-pandemic). Our favorite things to do are riding our quads and going camping! We’re looking forward to doing that more as a married couple.
